The director of patient access is a horrible person, lacks compassion, and shouldn’t work in healthcare. I think her name is Mariyelis or Demariyelis. I work in healthcare and I would never treat a patient or do to her what she did to me. I was unable to get my ultrasound and mammogram. My family has a history of breast cancer and I need to make sure I’m ok. She wouldn’t let me go to my appointment as I needed to pay $1333. I wasn’t aware I needed to pay that much. I offered $333 and if we could pay the rest in payments, or if she could call revenue cycle department and we can work something out. I was unaware of the huge deductible. It was a firm NO!
