5 /5 Meg Sweeny: Ann is truly a wealth of information. She needs to write a book! Or two! We went with three adults and two children (6yr & 2yr). The kids played with toys while running back and forth to listen to Ann. The adults, as Dino enthusiasts, found the tour to be exceptionally informative and we learned more in 2 hours than we have in years. May be better suited for older kids but our young ones kept busy just fine with the toys and digging for Dino fossils. Ann, if you read this, write a book and please send us a copy!! Thanks so much for a fun and informative afternoon.

5 /5 Catherine Adams: Such a fun little adventure for the kiddos to learn about dinosaurs and check out real fossils! It’s a smaller exhibit, so plan for about an hour, but it’s packed with hands-on fun. The guy leading the tour was super engaging, he really made the whole experience come alive. There’s coloring, a dino dig for teeth, LEGOs, and plenty of toys to keep the younger ones entertained. All in all, it’s a great family-friendly stop with a fun Florida twist!

Not to be thought of as a museum in grandeur or comparison to any renowned museums but a mini one room display of archaeological finds. Employees were kind and informative. Fun for small kids for sure, or if you cannot get to a larger display and your kids like dinosaurs

4 /5 Charity Ngo: Fun experience for the kids to learn about dinosaurs and see some fossils. You could plan to be there for about an hour. Its a small exhibit, but the gentleman doing the tour was very engaging and interactive. There is colouring, digging up teeth, lego and toys for young kids. Overall, great experience.

Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens - West Palm Beach July Soto: First impression was excellent! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The nice lady sitting at the entrance was excellent. She shared detailed bits of info about the house, its owners, and the Gardens. Excellent info bits for a first time visitor as myself. I enjoyed my time walking around the Gardens and admiring the sculptures. Great place to explore and inmerse yourself in a bit of old Florida history.

Grassy Waters Preserve - West Palm Beach Morgan Madison: This is a beautiful and very large free park. The nature trail has a long wooden walkway that goes through the area and over water. There are quite a few shaded viewing spots with either benches or rocking chairs. There is also an indoor area that is great for kids and has insects and fish, etc. A lot of educational material.

Candy Tour by Bulk Candy Store - West Palm Beach Sharon Wollman: We recently brought a group and did the Bulk Candy Tour and had a great time! It was not only informative but also brought me right back to my childhood with all the nostalgic candy. Our tour guide, Anika (spelling?) and yes she did say her name was totally misspelled all the time, was fantastic, fun, humorous, and full of energy, which made the whole experience even better. This tour is perfect for kids, especially adult kids who want to relive their favorite candy memories. From classic sweets you thought were gone to tasty surprises like popcorn and delicious Dubai chocolate, there’s something for everyone. And the best part? You get to buy your favorites after the tour! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, lighthearted outing.

South Cove Natural Area - West Palm Beach Kim V.: Everytime were in West Palm Beach, we make a stop at this place also. A nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The view of the Lake Worth Lagoon is beautiful especially once you walk across the 556-foot boardwalk. The city skyline is beautiful from the lagoon; I love that pink building especially during sunset. There are three man-made mangrove islands. Due to over development, many wildlife habitats were forced out; the county created these islands in effort to bring them back. The restoration brought many local wildlife such as sea turtles, manatees, fish, and birds back. We usually find on-street metered parking and explore the city and we never miss this spot. Its definitely a quiet retreat once you get to the other side of the boardwalk. Ive seen many walkers and bikers on it. They did a great job with this area.

Phipps Ocean Park - Palm Beach Barbie Awake: This beach is a true gem, offering a serene and pristine getaway thats perfect for rejuvenation. This location shines with its lovely scenery and meticulous cleanliness. As an added bonus, you can take advantage of free two-hour parking from 8am to 1pm. My vegan lifestyle leads me to avoid swimming in the ocean, not just because I dont want to be in fish water, but also due to concerns about water pollution. Nevertheless, I find solace in the ocean breeze and the breathtaking beach scenery.

Ocean Reef Park - Riviera Beach Stephanie Santiago: Such a beautiful park with picnic tables, charcoal grills, free parking, and lots of trees for shade. There are bathrooms and outdoor showers to rinse yourself. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as their water fountains don’t work.

Lion Country Safari - Loxahatchee Nurse Ford: Lion Country Safari has always been a fun and unique weekend adventure, and it’s still a great way to spend time with family while getting up close to some amazing animals from the comfort of your car. The drive-through experience is always exciting, and the automated radio station adds a nice educational touch as you go along. That said, I couldn’t help but notice that the number of animals has significantly decreased since COVID. As we drove through and listened to the narration, several animals that were being mentioned—ones I clearly remember seeing in abundance in past visits—just weren’t there anymore. It took away a bit of the magic and variety that used to make the safari so special. Despite that, it’s still a worthwhile trip and a unique way to spend a few hours, especially for kids. I just hope to see more of the animals return in the future to bring back the full experience that made it such a standout attraction.

Easternmost Point In Florida - Seth Gilland: Beautiful views of the coast. Pitted concrete so watch your step. Seems to be a popular place to fish but I didnt see to much catching. Adjacent to a great stretch of beach. Fun to watch boats and ships traverse the inlet.

Yesteryear Village - West Palm Beach Lynne Tracey: I love this place. It is so nostalgic and historically significant, cozy and thought provoking. I wish they held more events to draw money and more visitors. Also, planting more indiginous trees and shrubs would be really great.

Winding Waters Natural Area - West Palm Beach John: This is an unassuming natural spot that includes great wetlands and drier areas upwards; I even saw an endangered gopher tortoise digging a burrow! There’s an unpaved trail that circles the wetland, but there’s also a partially paved stretch that leads to a short boardwalk over the water. Definitely a cool little place for a relatively short hike - there’s also the option to have a longer unpaved hike if you take a turn at the boardwalk. I was surprised that I saw 2 large alligators! There’s a cool patch of cypress trees in the water that wetland birds love hanging out on.
