1 /5 Michelle M.: This was hands down the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. I scheduled a regular cleaning, which is what I expected to receive. After an exam aand 3 hours at the office, the dentist recommended a deep cleaning. While I respect his professional opinion, I wasn’t comfortable proceeding with that treatment on the same day and told them I just wanted the standard cleaning I had originally booked.
To my shock, they flat-out refused to do it. I left with no cleaning done at all, completely frustrated. I believe a patient has every right to understand their options and not be pressured into a more expensive procedure.
To make matters worse, the woman at the front desk—who told me she’s a dentist from Peru—was extremely rude, arrogant, and sarcastic toward me. Her attitude was nasty, condescending, and completely unprofessional. She made an already uncomfortable situation much worse.
Then, about 10 minutes after I left, she called me asking me to come back and sign a form stating that I had declined the deep cleaning and opted for the regular one instead. I would have gladly signed that if she had asked before I walked out. But after the way they treated me—especially her—there was absolutely no way I could walk back into that office.
Needless to say, I will never go back, and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for dental care.
