UF Health Leesburg Hospital - Leesburg (FL)

4 /5 Village Idiot: I’ve been to this hospital when I had my heart attack and they were great. My mom had a hip replacement there and they were great. Now my mom is here after a fall. They found blood clots and the staff has been great but when the ICU doctor Dr Garcia came by to talk to me this evening he got an attitude with me and said “ Are you kidding me bro?” When I politely stated that I didn’t get a lot of feedback from the staff today the way I did yesterday in the ER. I was really taken aback by his unprofessional response and defensive manor when I did not speak to him in an aggressive way what-so-over. All in all I’ve had great experiences in this hospital but that will leave a stain on my opinion of the facility which is the only reason I’m giving them a 4 instead of a 5. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this hospital should you find yourself needing one.

5 /5 Cynthia Taylor: I have been in three hospital recently; West Marion, The Villages and now Leesburg UF Health. The staff at Leesburg is by far the best at making me feel comfortable and heard. From nurses to Techs to the transport team all have been super friendly and attentive. The food and nutrition groups gets the highest rating! They have worked with me to send me foods I will eat and prepared meals sent out to the rooms are great! I hear they have a brand new menu and the nursing staff tells me they go eat what they see us served as it looks so good. Vegetable are tasty and not cooked to mush, the meats are prepared with seasoning and herbs and not bland. They bring me a beautiful bowl of yogurt and fresh fruit in the mornings and always add a little something extra on my tray. The team that comes around to get the food orders are very committed to bringing their patients what they want to eat. 5 Stars for sure!

1 /5 S m: My dad has been there twice they never fixed his problem. They were going to discharge him . When he was still very sick . I heard a doctor say another patient didnt have insurance and he could walk and talk so let him go. Doctors dont come in very often. Some have no bedside manner. To be honest I wouldnt take my dog here

5 /5 jazmin brantley: Kelly L. was my mother’s nurse as my mother was admitted yesterday for bloody stools. Kelly L. went above and beyond to ensure that my mother was comfortable and well-taken care of! I was very impressed with her level of nursing knowledge and especially her compassion. She is a wonderful nurse, and I am thankful she was my mother’s nurse during her time on floor 4!
