1 /5 Desiree Ballester Figueroa: I visited Unique Nails last Thursday around 5:00 p.m., and my experience was incredibly disappointing. There were only three people working, and I kept being told to wait just five more minutes. Eventually, they had to call the owner to come in. When she started doing my nails, she ended up stopping and had her husband finish them instead.
I wanted short coffin nails and showed them a picture of what I wanted, along with the same orange color to match my toes. Instead, they gave me a coral color that leaned more towards pink. The acrylic application was terrible—too thick and not properly shaped around the cuticle. Just two days later, one nail came off completely intact. When I went back to get it fixed, they couldnt find the same color they used and instead applied a bright orange, thinking that was acceptable. They didnt even offer to remove all my nails and redo them completely.
Overall, it was a complete waste of $70 for subpar service and mediocre nails. I will never return, and I do not recommend Unique Nails. Theyre short-staffed, slow, and the quality of their work is just not worth it.
