5 /5 Claudia Sundman: I am a member of this church. I obviously love it, or I wouldnt be there each week. Im agnostic. I dont believe in god or gods, certainly not the screwed-up god of Abraham! Thats not a problem at this church. We also welcome pagans and others who DO believe in a god or gods! If you are looking for a place where we value all human beings, believe that Black Lives Matter, no love is wrong, no human is illegal, women should control their own bodies, that our planet must be protected for those that follow, and that trans people deserve the same rights as all others... this may be your church!

1 /5 Michelle J: While the intentions are pure and good hearted, sadly the efforts of the church have done nothing but encourage more and more homeless to set up camp on their grounds throughout the week and evenings. Last night (Sat) close to midnight, you could barely see the front landscape because of so many were camped out. They were all gone this afternoon (Sunday at 2pm), then all began to return at 4pm after what I suspect is the conclusion of services this day. It’s not okay anymore. Mirror Lake used to be so pretty to walk around. Now it’s an eye sore and doesn’t feel safe!

5 /5 Victoria Wrede: This church is a god sent to the community. Every Friday they provide a wonderful meal beginning at 6pm. They always have homemade soup which is excellent. You can also get essential provisions such as hygiene products, first aid, clothes, etc

1 /5 Becky Marsh: Because this church lets 20-50+ homeless people sleep on the lawn at night, there is constant unrest 24/7. If drinking, drugs, shouting and even open defacation wasn’t enough, all of these folks on the yard spread out and go to local garages, bushes, overhangs and porches when it rains. If the church really cared about the homeless they would open their doors at night, not stop at the yard. Instead, they’ve swapped one problem out with another; the people that live in the surrounding neighborhood are now scared, stressed out and very unhappy. Meanwhile, whoever is in charge at the church goes home at night to their quiet and safe neighborhood. The church has painted the homeowners in a corner—if they complain they look like uncaring jerks. So what can they do? Call the cops when people shoot up under their windows at night? That’s what they do. Every. Single. Night. This seemingly altruistic solution by the church is a lazy gesture that in the end makes them look helpful but doesn’t really help the homeless, and, terrorizes the surrounding homeowners. Hello, Universalist Church? Don’t you care about being a good neighbor? Will you work with the homeowners to find a REAL solution?

5 /5 Patricia Leigh Allen: Rev Ben is a wonderful leader and speaker. Sunday he shared interesting and insightful Origin stories. Thank you Ben for digging deep to share historical context that was previously unknown to me and as usual leading the service with sensitivity, insight and humor!
