5 /5 Danell McKeel: This church and their volunteer do nothing less than a miracle for homeless people. They have a soup kitchen, and they bring in portable showers and give clothing to the less fortunate. Thanks to all that pass on to help other. Thank you Evelyn Torrey for bringing my attention to this wonder place!

5 /5 Stephanie Tippie: A place where everybody from all walks of life are welcome. I love the fact that the church extends itself to helping the homeless. We are in the 21st century, and nobody should be homeless or hungry. God bless the church, its founders and leaders for all they do for the people in need. I had the opportunity to volunteer the week before Christmas to help feed those who are hungry. I will do it every year and whenever time affords me. if you are open to volunteering, the church seeks volunteers to feed the homeless on a weekly basis. Give it a try and fulfill your soul.

The best part of this trip was walking on such a quiet and clean ground and meeting with Rev. Patrick Rogers. He walked with me through the church while explained the community services, denomination, and reason why: They are an open and affirmative congregation, diverse and inclusive. Come by and check this out!

5 /5 Jeff Scott: A church who seeks all, welcomes all, and loves all. It feels like coming home! After growing up Lutheran and almost becoming a pastor, finding the UCC 25 years ago changed my personal relationship with God. The UCC is not perfect, but they strive to follow Jesus, who visited the rejects of society to bring them hope and show them God’s love. This congregation in particular serves 1000s of meals annually to the homeless through a weekly program, and works for justice for all.
