1 /5 michele hurst: If I could leave it a zero I would. I understood it was supposed to be retro but filth is not retro. The mold/mildew throughout the unit was ridiculous. ‘Retro’ does not excuse filthy sheets/broken dirty kitchen ware/no essentials like toilet paper. We only stayed one night of our reservation snd, had it not been a high demand weekend or had we arrived before 11pm we would have left immediately. Retro does not mean filth or unusable appliances. Retro does not mean noise at all hours. Retro does not mean stained sheets/ mold mildew everywhere. The host is rude. Claims everything was perfectly clean when he watched his crew clean it the day before. Basically calling me a liar and then claiming booking.com never tried to contact him and that I did not have nor send him proof of the conditions. My photos here are the same proof I sent him. EDIT: in response to hosts rebuff: You stated you had left while the crew was cleaning and it was in perfect condition. Anyone can see by the pictures posted that there is clearly mold/mildew on the ac unit. The filth that is evident in the photos is clearly from not being properly cleaned for a length of time. You also stated your crew would bring us clean sheets and toilet paper and as of 9:45am, they had not done that. While the reviews before/after ours may be five stars, I will let the photos speak for themselves. As for booking.com, not contacting you, that is between you and them. I did what I was supposed to do by calling them to cancel the remainder of my booking and request a refund. Again, I sent you the same photos I posted to the email address you gave me. Regardless, they are posted in this review for you to see.

5 /5 David: This is THE Van Zant house where members of Lynyrd Skynyrd grew up and made some music. It is still in the same 70s decor and authentic. This is an airbnb now. If youre a fan this is a must see. Plenty of history in the area as well.

5 /5 Duane Mitchell: Todd is the best when it came to landlord and maintenance. Easy to work with but honest. Historical building and I would rent short or long term with him. I rented for 7 months.

5 /5 Lucey Scott (23 Indian DarkHorse): A little hole in the wall if you’re a fan ! It’s not a big tourist spot. I was greeted by the maintenance guy who looked over the place & told feel free to take all the photos I wanted from the outside. Please visit this place !

1 /5 Alain De La Paz: Filthy. The house has been updated over the years so doesnt look like a 1970s house. The furniture is also not 70s accurate. Owner is especially rude.

Boone Park - Jacksonville Malcomb Baker: I dunno why, but this tree called to me! And I had to snap it! There is a lot of room out here. Playground for kids, I think a tennis AND pickleball court. But you do a little walking you can escape to a more wooded calm zen area. I was surprised! Loved it!

Ed Austin Regional Park - Jacksonville Angelica Caldera: It has a fantastic walking/running/biking trail. 1.75miles. It goes around the whole park. Very clean. The dog park is cute and completely gated for small and large dogs. There are lots of seating areas throughout and shade. The new playground is perfect for young children. It is also completely gated. Lots to do. Come check it out.

Bryan-Gooding Planetarium - Jacksonville Jaycie Miller: The place itself was beautiful and had comfortable chairs and the art outside in the waiting area was nice. However the show itself was very uninformitive and the speaker sounded like he had very little understanding of the information he was passing on. There was a lot of umms and it seemed like he wasnt very familiar with the program that was projecting the images either. He left lights on in the room that made the show hard to see. I couldnt help but laugh and wonder how he got that job. Show was very short too.

Blue Cypress Park - Jacksonville Sarah Cooke: This place is beautiful! Great views, great walking trails, kids love it too!

Bird Island Park - Ponte Vedra Beach Angelica Gonzalez: This place is amazing!! I felt so much peace and tranquility when I arrived. Beautiful birds, butterflies, and turtles. A great spot to take stunning photos.

Adventure Landing Home Office - Jacksonville Beach Robyn Meadows: Yesterday I brought my grandchildren for the last 2 hours that the park was open. I paid ful price at the counter 96$. The ticket clerk was very rude first of all and did not share that I needed to pay an extra 15$ to watch them. So at the gate the boy refused to let me in although my grand kids had already entered ( without supervision). He expected me to go back in and leave them to pay. Then when we finally do get sat down they say to get out of the pool it had poop in it. Now the manager comes over and says she’s gonna escort us out of the park because I refuse to go pay when they kids couldn’t even swim due to the unclean water. So I ask for my money back if I had to leave inwhich they refused. This is just unacceptable. I will never visit this disgusting place again.

The lights of the world - Jacksonville Beach Genesis Mays: Every year Jacksonvilles non profit organizations host the lights on the beach. Educational, fun, and city friendly. Before Christmas there are various food stations but bringing your own hot chocolate isnt frowned upon. Great place for pictures and play. Just one stop on a light adventure with Girvin just minutes away.

Jax for Life - Murals - Jacksonville Angie P: Beautiful mural that really brings life to the area! Great place to check out and see the full scope of it in person!!

Pensacola Museum of History, at the University of West Florida - Pensacola Katie Cooner: Had a lot of fun here. Its very affordable. Your ticket comes with multiple attractions and there are a lot of fascinating facts we learned about sailors and the history of pensacola. It is a bit small so we were done within an hour but i still recommend going. I do wish there was more to the gift shop though. We like collecting magnets when we travel.
