2 /5 Tiffany Oakes: I’ve had my nails done at the salon about five times now. I really liked my nails once. My complaint is not about the nail technician, because all of this falls back on the owner. I expect that if I walk into a business speaking a certain language, and they are going to give me a service that they will pair me up with someone else who also speaks my language so that I am able to communicate. The sweet nail tech did not speak any English at all. I walked away, extremely unhappy with my nails. I asked for rounded corners and nails that were not too wide. As you can see, these nails are very wide and unshaped, and the corners are very sharp, which will hurt my newborn baby. I have no doubts that if we were able to speak the same language, she would have been able to give me what I wanted. Also, it’s important to mention that I paid $70 for this service. I am very unhappy and now I have $70 less in my bank account. It is not acceptable to charge that much for a full set refill on short nails. I’m not the kind of person to complain about price ever, but this is ridiculous. I will not be returning. The only reason I did not give one star is because the girl who did my nails was kind and it was not her fault she could not give me what I asked for. If the owner is going to hire non-English speakers, he needs to make sure his customers are able to communicate with employees.
