5 /5 B. B.: I always have a sense of dread when going to the dentist, even for just for cleaning. Today, I have just come a cleaning with Stephanie (and yes, I kept dreading this over this past holiday weekend), and she did a fantastic job. I have had her for cleaning in the past, and she has a great touch, she remembered I prefer the metal scraping implements over the atomic water-blaster and did such a thorough job I will even forgive her for finding an old crown beginning to show signs of decay. My teeth feel "re-born".
If you should dread the dentist as I do, you could no better than this team. Dr. DeLeon has a wonderful gentle and considerate manner and will tell you his objective is to treat without pain. And he does. I have had a filling replaced, and another time I needed a crown and Dr. DeLeon wanted to be sure I was completely numb before beginning work, and throughout kept asking how I felt, if there was pain, even if I needed a break. Not only was this considerate but helped to make me feel I was in the best hands, which I was. Stephanie ranks number #1 compared to hygienists I have had elsewhere in the past, and the front desk staff is always pleasant and welcoming, a good way to begin the appointment. As I said, I really do not like going to the dentist, but of all my decades of dentists I have experienced, Dr. DeLeon and his staff are superior, bar none!!! You all are the best!!!
