3 /5 Scott Fearing: There seems to be a reacting dog poop issue with the same crowd of regulars, especially one older, heavy set white male with entitled/privaleged attitude. He and they sit under the small dog park cover in the corner. I pick up all there dogs poop daily while they sit, laugh, converse with each other and ignore there dogs and the fact that their dogs are pooping a daily average of 20 piles of poop. The main guy get very defensive and even has gotten rude and ignorant towards myself while I clean up as a courtesy to those that have troubles doing it. He has tried to tell me to leave and tell my dog to stop barking. A very rude person for sure. So what your step and what whom you choose to talk to there. I find it all very amusing. And typical…

5 /5 Melissa Woodall: Nice little park, swings, slides, pavilion, bathroom. Loop Trail was nice and shady with a deep woods feel, oak, pine, cabbage palm, palmetto, ferns you name it. Not too long not too short.

5 /5 Alicia Vega: What a little Oasis! Big, beautiful, oaks big beautiful oaks and big beautiful oaks. What a nice trail very unexpected. It’s kinda in the city ish, and I’m always for trails further out, but this one was great. Nice park for kids, they play soccer there are restrooms , handicap parking , picnic tables seems like they had it all, and right off of Oleander Ave.

5 /5 Jazzy Frassy: The full trail is long so be ready and bring mosquito spray and a snack so you’re not rushing the hike/walk. Great place to hangout tho. The field and park needs some work which the city is working on slowly but overall it’s great there and pet friendly too.

Tom and Jerrys Airboat Rides - Lake Panasoffkee Beth Briggs-MacLeod: We had an absolute blast on Tom and Jerrys airboat ride! Captain Brent was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. The areas that we explored were just magical! We saw many birds, turtles, fish and many alligators! One of the gators was huge! If you have a chance to go, you absolutely should!!!

Swamp Fever Airboat Adventures - Lake Panasoffkee Tracy Williams: Captain Todd!! We got the last ride and Captain Todd was patient, and it was HOT outside. The baby alligators were still showing up for us. We saw a bit more wildlife than expected for the heat of the day. The ride was fun. Kids and adults enjoyed it. We ended up having our own family tour and had quality Q&A time to learn more about the ecosystem there. It was a great fun learning experience!! Worth every penny!! The gift shop and snacks were reasonably priced, too.

Dade Battlefield Historic State Park - Bushnell Eugene Martinez: We visit here, every year, for the Easter Egg Hunt, and sometimes war reenactments. So very easy to find, straight shot up I75 to exit 314 Bushnell, go East, follow the signs! Great park, great bathrooms, cool events. Everything is so pretty. Awesome place to take the family for a picnic, or to just see nature. Keep up the awesome work!

Marsh Bend Outlet Park - Lake Panasoffkee Ashlee Bowles: One of my favorite places to visit and explore, a bike ride away from home. Two boat ramp access points, dock, walk-over bridge, childrens play area, volleyball pit and plenty of spots to set up a family outing at with tables and stationary grills. Gorgeous scenery.

Mystic Jungle Educational Facility Inc. - Live Oak Rachael Sampson: We booked keeper for a day tour for my birthday as I love to do new things.. we arrived at 10am and left the facility at 730pm .. this tour was ahhhmazing and worth way more than what they charge . The staff are are volunteers and very knowledgeable and love the animals .. loved to see the staff interacting with the animals and them being excited that they are there you can see the love between humans and animals there !! We drove 4 hours to do this tour and I’m glad we did !! We learned about birds , reptiles, cats, fox , etc … keeper for a day we got to prepare all the food for the animals for that day and put in their cages.. if your looking for an amazing experience I can’t recommend this enough !! Suwannee River State Park - Live Oak Emptynesters Travels: Just a few tables, swingset and some areas to swim. You can get down to thr river to swim as well. There was an area of ruins there. You can see the Suwannee bridge from there.

Woods Ferry Conservation Area - Mick Shea: This is the first river camp on the Suwannee, 12 miles from the Hwy 41 boat ramp in White Springs, or 9 miles from Stephen Foster. The 5 sleeping shelters are exactly like their counterparts at the other camps, perfect for overnight paddling. The bathrooms are even nicer than at the other camps, its above flood plain and so is on a slab instead of moveable. The communal covered picnic table area is comfortable.

International Falconry Academy - Live Oak Alex Carbonell: Surprised my better half for our anniversary with an unbelievable falconry experience. The experience far exceeded all expectations. Kitty and Courtney are beyond professional and they gave us an experience that we will never forget. Please choose them and their operations and you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Kitty!!

Forest Capital Museum State Park - Perry Megan Coppage: Definitely old-school Florida tourism in the best way possible. The museum charges $2 based on the honor system. There are bathrooms, picnic pavilions, and a childrens playground. The museum was built in the late 60s/70s out of 300 types of wood. The Whiddon Cracker Cabin was built in 1864 and has an actual dogtrot! Some of the displays may be a little outdated, but its a cool piece of Florida History.
