5 /5 Jennifer Kirby: Searched for a few years to find a church I could belong to. Finding some I enjoyed but it just didn’t feel like home. I reached out to my old youth pastor and basically begged him to move from Nashville, TN to Bradenton so my kids could grow in faith the way I did through his sermons. He suggested Pastor Sam at West B. I watched online first and really enjoyed the sermons. I finally got the courage to go in person and from day 1 I felt at home. They called me by my first name, took me to coffee to get to know me, invited me to Bunco, podcast and provide so many fun activities for my babies. My tween enjoys going to church. My toddler gets excited when he hears we are going. They have supported and encouraged my foster journey. Even though we don’t have any family within a 5 hour radius, we have built a family with the church. I can’t say enough awesome things about this church community.

5 /5 Alexis Jordan: The pastor (Sam Rainer) preaches straight from the Bible with conviction—there’s no lukewarmness, just truth, as it should be in the house of the Lord. He is also lighthearted making the congregation chuckle. He doesn’t coddle or compromise. Worship is reverent and centered on the Lord, not on individual performers or excessive volume. I also appreciate the pastors masculinity—he presents himself with dignity, unlike the trendy, image-focused styles seen in some modern mega churches. I especially value how he pauses thoughtfully during the message, allowing time to reflect and absorb the Word. The entire service follows an orderly, respectful flow—free from unnecessary emotionalism or theatrical displays meant to stir feelings rather than feed the spirit.

5 /5 Pat Batdorff: Our Lord is honored at WBBC. Pastor Sam preaches the word so all can understand. All of our pastors are amazing. Our church is friendly and welcoming. I am blessed to be a member of West Bradenton Baptist Church. There is something for every one of all ages. We would love to have you visit sometime.

5 /5 nikki: Beautiful gospel centered church that helped bring me back to Christianity. Pastor Sam Rainer is amazing, he’s knowledgeable about the Bible and energetic enough to where you don’t get bored of what’s being taught. I wish there was more involvement with young people. I think there’s a bible study at 11 for young adults but I prefer the more traditional service. I highly recommend this church! I remember going by myself to church for the first time and the minute I stepped into church I remember thinking to myself “I am home”. ❤️
