Service was moving, the Pastor, full of personality and warmth, gave a great sermon. Afterwards there was an incredible spread of food for all to enjoy. Jennifer Kirby Searched for a few years to find a church I could belong to. Finding some I enjoyed but it just didn’t feel like home. I reached out to my old youth pastor and basically begged him to move from Nashville, TN to Bradenton so my kids could grow in faith the way I did through his sermons. He suggested Pastor Sam at West B. I watched online first and really enjoyed the sermons. I finally got the courage to go in person and from day 1 I felt at home. They called me by my first name, took me to coffee to get to know me, invited me to Bunco, podcast and provide so many fun activities for my babies. My tween enjoys going to church. My toddler gets excited when he hears we are going. They have supported and encouraged my foster journey. Even though we don’t have any family within a 5 hour radius, we have built a family with the church. I can’t say enough awesome things about this church community.

I also appreciate the pastors masculinity—he presents himself with dignity, unlike the trendy, image-focused styles seen in some modern mega churches. I especially value how he pauses thoughtfully during the message, allowing time to reflect and absorb the Word. The entire service follows an orderly, respectful flow—free from unnecessary emotionalism or theatrical displays meant to stir feelings rather than feed the spirit.

My Mom just passed, after being away for 3 years, but Pastor Bill Bailey still officiated at her funeral here locally, to be buried with my Dad. My parents loved Pastor Bill Bailey & Happy Gospel Church & are so grateful he conducted both of their services. I highly recommend him & the Church, for real anointed Bible preaching & song. James Keeling I am relatively new to Sarasota/Bradenton and have been trying several new churches to attend. Today was our (my wife, my granddaughter, and me) first visit to Riverlife Church. We went to the 11:30 service on March 30. On the outside, the area and church property look nice. Inside seems well kept and clean. We were warmly greeted by a few people. We made our way into the sanctuary, and it was inviting as well. It was also clean and nice, but not overdone. I got a good feeling in there. When the worship music started, it was soft and easy. They played a few songs, and I enjoyed my worship time. The last song had a young woman solo, and she had a beautiful voice. After video announcements and a welcome from a pleasant young man, the pastor came up to preach. He spoke of Daniel with Shadrach, Mesach, and Abednego and the fiery furnace. He did a fine job and related it to us in the present. After closing, he ended with prayer. Overall, it was a special time, and we certainly will be giving Riverlife another look. We have now visited several churches and will soon decide on a new home church, and Riverlife could very well be where we land!

Patrick Webb Actually was invited by friends of mine to attend a meeting and what a blessing it was to find out it was a Celebrate Recovery meeting. The guys in the program there were really cool and you could tell they were on fire for the Lord! Loved it if I were to ever have to go through another program Im pretty sure I would choose Throne of Grace, I can just imagine how great their church is as well!

Kristal Murphy This church started in the cafeteria of my girls elementary school about ten years ago. It has truly grown into an outstanding church, welcoming all of the community. Since the very first day that Ive attended, they make you feel welcomed like family and you feel at home. I love the atmosphere - all are welcomed as you are. I appreciate the honesty of Pastor Steve as he is very open about his own personal issues and his character; his honesty has helped me strive to be a better person each and every day with the love of Jesus Christ. You wont be disappointed at this place of love and worship, thats for sure! Ive never felt a sense of peace in my life as I do now.

Kristie Kennedy Today I visited for the second time while visiting my mom. What I enjoy most is that the tangible presence of God ministers to my spirit. They only spend about ten to fifteen minutes on the word for the one hour service and it was more milk than meat. The dress code is extremely casual, jeans and sneakers are acceptable. I was dressed down and was still overdressed in this environment. Its a great place for babes in Christ. I would probably starve with my voracious appetite for the word. I took half a page of notes when I typically average about 6-7 and I talked to Jesus about this because Im curious which is more impactful out of what Im used to experiencing. They give you options at the end of service to leave or stay for prayer. As a black woman there were a total of three blacks that I saw but I try to focus on at least one person who demonstrates the kindness of Christ and today it was my neighbor. I will definitely visit again when I return as the pastor reminded us today we are all a mess and God still loves us.

Tristan Adkins My wife and I have been attending Oasis church for almost 10 years. This healthy, family friendly church has been a blessing to our family. We have two young children, and I can’t tell you how much we are impressed with their children’s ministry. Vacation bible school is a great summer activity here. Safety is a priority at Oasis. Everyone is welcome here and unlike allot of churches there’s no judgmental attitudes. Pastor Steve and associate pastor John deliver practical, authentic, biblical based sermons week after week and their service is only an hour long and there’s 3 to choose from on Sunday mornings.
