2 /5 Kevin Martin: Yesterday we were visiting Key West and happened to stumble up Wyland. We decided to go inside because of the beautiful dolphin statue and pirate ship piece. After walking around for 5 minutes, one of the workers told us we couldn’t take photos. About halfway through we asked the same worker how we’d go about purchasing a piece of art. He told us that we could go on their website to find the price of whatever we were interested in and wasn’t helpful or nice about it. After leaving I went to their website and can find no information on the pieces there. You have to do an Artwork Inquiry and jump through hoops. I truly believe he didn’t take us serious and wanted us to go on a goose chase. I guess you have to be dressed a certain way to get any good customer service from this place.

4 /5 Kim Berthiaume: I’ve been to a few Wyland Galleries. This is by far the nicest! BEAUTIFUL store and of course art! I do wish they had some prints for sale though, like they used to.

1 /5 Phetmany Senthavy: Very unpleasant experience. Never have I ever experienced anything like this anywhere. One staff was following us around and kept wiping down the artwork that we looked at. We did not touch anything. At one point, he asked which artwork we like, we pointed, he then proceeded to take down the artwork, took it in a different room and wiping it down aggressively. We felt so disrespected and were just so shocked at how rude and unprofessional this person is. After he took the art work away he came back and just stared at us. At this point we just walked out, feeling very bothered by this behavior.

The Basilica of St. Mary Star of the Sea - Key West Lauren Connolly: This is my favorite stop in Key West. Stunning church and beautiful homilies. All are welcome- and it feels that way! Stayed behind after mass to say some prayers and watched a couple renew their wedding vows (45 years I think!). We were in town celebrating our 19th and Father renewed our vows too! It was an amazing experience. Make sure to explore outside too. Very peaceful and you can feel God here!

Captain George Carey House - Key West Jason Braun: This house was built in 1834 by Captain George Carey, a wealthy Englishman who ran a seaport bar and wholesale liquor business. The original house, which is likely the second oldest structure in Key West, was quite small, consisting of two rooms and a separate cookhouse at the rear of the property. In 1844, Captain Carey enlarged the house to its current size for his bride, a German woman who, along with her four sisters, was rescued from a shipwreck off the coast of the island. Careys bride and her sisters all married men from Key West and the shipwreck has come to be known as the "Wreck of the German Brides. "

Turtle Cannery Museum - Key West Diana Chira: We explored the area and found this really nice museum! Worth a walk to see whats inside and get some memorabilia!

Pirate Playground - Fernandina Beach Amanda Blake: Best playground we have been to! We were on vacation and needed a place for the kiddos to run around. They would have stayed there all day if we let them! So much for going to all the exciting "tourist attractions" we planned. They had so much fun here. It was all they talked about. Free playground and so many fun activities for them. Make sure to put a lot of sunscreen on them!

Amelia Island Museum of History - Fernandina Beach Billy ODell: The museum was really nice. We learned a lot about Amelia Island since it was our first time coming there for our date day. It was very hands-on and that’s what we like. Wasn’t very busy. It was a Saturday, We were the only people in there so you pretty much felt like you have the place to yourself which is nice so you’re not having to bump into a whole lot of people trying to see the same thing! Very informative!! The lady who works at the front desk is very nice also! The only downfall is it was a little on the expensive side, I think, it was $10 per adult.

Main Beach Park - Fernandina Beach Robin Buckley-Baird: Very relaxing! Clean, friendly people. Nice walking paths (boards). Lots of dogs. Much different than what Im used to. I wouldnt walk barefoot in that rough sand. I wonder if some bad owners dont pick up their dogs poop?

Peters Point Beachfront Park - Fernandina Beach Robert Builder: Very beautiful beach filled with an amazing cast of characters. A teenage girl eating sand and screaming like a dog. An older gentleman, very hard to understand telling a story that was incomprehensible. Also the usual hot girls and beach boys.

Fort Clinch State Park - Fernandina Beach Linda P: We accessed the park on a rented “ arcimoto” electric 3 wheel vehicle . I highly recommend seeing the park this way or on a bike to get immersed. Facts about the park can be found on the website. I want to add some directions to navigating the park instead. There are basically two places to see if visiting for an hour or two. The fort and the beach. See the photos to orient. First sign you come to is clearly marked beach to the right - you could spend an hour or a day there! Straight ahead is the fort. We did take at least an hour to tour. The video and small museum are informative. The fort property is interesting and well staged. Just to see the tree canopy and Spanish moss was interesting. Side turn offs are separate camping areas etc. Check out the park map!
