Extremely Unhelpful and Unfriendly Experience with Sherry at Burlington
I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience with Sherry, the night shift lead at Burlington, was just awful. I came in to exchange a pair of pillows that didn’t work out — nothing major — and she flat-out refused to help because I didn’t still have the clear plastic film they were wrapped in. I’m sorry, but who actually keeps that? It’s packaging, not a keepsake.
Instead of offering any kind of solution or even trying to understand, she acted completely unaccommodating and cold. Her attitude screamed “I don’t care,” and her energy matched it. The whole experience left a sour taste — I’ve had better treatment at the DMV.
Honestly, Burlington should remind Sherry that customer service isn’t just about ringing people up, it’s about treating them like human beings. Maybe next time she could bring a little warmth and empathy to her shift, because this was a pillow exchange, not a high-stakes negotiation.
