1 /5 crystal Gibbs: I brought in a BRAND new cotton vest from Target, tag attached for $25. Right out of the Target bag. I paid $25. They offered $3, I rejected their offer. I wanted to show the original price, the original price had been ripped off. Asking, they were adamant the price was ripped off prior. Not worth the argument, but worth passing along. Thanks for your time.

2 /5 Enzo L: I tried to go here to sell them some of my gently used mens clothing after noticing that it said they were looking for mens clothing on their website. It is genuinely a waste of time trying to bring anything here. Youre better off listing it on an online marketplace for cheap and having them take a cut. They stock their shelves with fast fashion items that are one wash away from disintegrating, and yet decline to even make an offer on any of my items that were from name brands. Now I know why I cant seem to find anything good when I shop here. The benefit of the doubt is that sometimes you can find a good deal on shoes, but besides that all of their clothing is from fast fashions brands like H & M, Zara, Forever 21, etc. When you try to sell, they take down your information on an online form to sell to data brokers, which is just insult to injury. Hopefully when the store is under new management, it will improve. For now, Im giving them two stars and a warning to any potential shoppers to not waste their time. This review isnt targeted at any of the employees at all, it is most likely a result of poor management and training. Their business practices make for a terrible buying and selling experience.

3 /5 Matthew: It doesn’t seem like there’s a consistent system behind what Plato’s Closet buys. I brought in quality items and most were rejected as “out of trend,” with no clear explanation, resulting in a $5 payout. The process felt arbitrary rather than based on quality or demand. A stronger understanding of current fashion trends would go a long way here.

2 /5 Keyshla Rosa: Horrible experience due to the service!!!! I Love the shopping and selling experience at this location but when it comes down to checkout the service is absolutely horrific! I usually come near closing due to my work hours and I completely understand that closing time is at 9 but I should not be dismissed nor feel rushed if an hour is left before closing. A young lady by the name of Danika checked me out and I thank her for her service and all I got in return was an mhm.. that says enough.

1 /5 Maria Bures: Came into this store today to sell my items and as soon as I walked in the employees that were working there today (particularly the girls by the cash register) were rude and had an attitude. Their tone when asking questions was very condescending. If you don’t want to work there, then don’t. There’s no need to have an attitude towards customers. I’ve been to other Plato’s locations and the staff has always been welcoming and friendly. I will not be returning to this location. No wonder they’re going out of business.
