1 /5 Mayla Tillotson: Extremely unprofessional and rude. Called 2 hours before close. Told me I could come in to sell but we might not be able to pick up until the next day. Drove 45 minutes. Went in and they told us they weren’t buying for the rest of the night because they were “about to close” (they still were open for another hour and 15 min). Then the store manager was extremely rude. Talked over not only me and my husband but other guests. She was just complaining about “getting her brake cut short” because she got asked to come and talk to us. Do not go here. The one in ocalee is much nicer anyway.

1 /5 Liz Gonzalez: this store used to be my go to place for shopping and bringing in clothes, but over the last few months it has gone downhill. very overpriced, messy, and worst of all… THE RUDEST STAFFING! they used to have such good workers but the last few times especially the last time i went they were SO rude, i came in and brought SIX bags of clothing at a relatively early time, the girl assisting me (if i can even say that) with long dark hair, braces, and bad attitude was very short with me and didn’t even make eye contact while explaining the drop off method. i was informed the wait would be until 4 hours after so what did i do? i went other places to shop and kill time just to come back exhausted and for another rude worker with purple hair to inform me they only took TWO items and would pay me FOUR dollars for them due to “high inventory” which was NOT MENTIONED from the beginning, if ANY of the rude staffing would have mentioned to me “just letting you know, we have high inventory so we might not be able to take a lot of items” I WOULD HAVE JUST LEFT NO PROBLEM AND THANKED THEM FOR THEIR HONESTY AND CONSIDERATION instead of making me waste time FOR HOURS and being rude and inconsiderate. As I was being handed back my bags i had to point out to THREE bag’s because the staff did not even know they were mine and would have kept them if i wouldn’t have mentioned it, then a guy with glasses and long hair wearing a beanie/hat was very rude as well when I asked if he knew of another plato’s that didn’t have high inventory to which he replied incompetently “no, but goodwill takes stuff” stating the obvious. just very rude and unprofessional staffing, very disappointing since i truly loved to shop there, but with how bad the staff is and how messy the store is i actually do rather go to goodwill at this point. so just as a tip: tell clients that bring items that there is “high inventory” BEFOREHAND. and an fyi: i went to the plato’s by the florida mall the day after and the staffing was super kind, store was organized, and they actually took a handful of my stuff and gave me more than a few cents for the items, highly recommend instead.

1 /5 Destiny Ureña: I just wanted to write a review about this place, I went to sell a good amount of items and look around the store. They were having a 90% sale and it was not made clear that it was only for the clearance rack since the 90% sale sign was all over the store Therefore me and my boyfriend were very excited and racked up a few items to purchase while we were waiting for our clothing to get processed. When I brought all of my items to check out, the total came out to $75 and I asked the lady at the front if these items would have the 90% deal applied and she stated that they were not eligible for the discount, I proceeded to ask to cancel the transaction any she was very rude and irritated. she then proceeded to say to one of her coworkers “ Can you please Come and cancel this entire transaction” With the most disgusting attitude I’ve ever experienced. I then proceeded to decide that I wanted to purchase one of the clothing pieces, and I said to her “ I don’t mean to upset you anymore. Can I please purchase this clothing item?” she looked at me with the attention of her coworkers on her and said “ You didn’t upset me” very sarcastically and disrespectfully. I brought in great pieces of clothing and they only purchased one hoodie for three dollars, which was absolutely absurd. I will no longer be coming to the store. They scammed me for pieces of clothing that were actually worth buying understanding that they only pay you 30% of the price of your clothing The store, the workers, the ambience, the vibe was absolutely disgusting and uncomfortable. They need to work more on their employees and their attitude. It’s a whole bunch of teenagers working with disgusting attitudes . I am 18 myself , and I work with people and I make sure I do it with respect as they should learn to do. This is a disgusting place would not recommend.

4 /5 Jealous Doll: I don’t usually like writing reviews but i saw the review by @Earnest Rock and had to giggle. If it’s who i think it is, this customer and his daughter brought ripped and stain clothes to sell and every experienced secondhand seller knows many places doesn’t accept that. I was there with my girlfriend and saw that he was incredibly rude and aggressive towards the employees. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t any management in the building so that’s bad on management’s part. The employees were professional and even re checked their items (even when they didn’t have to). I don’t usually like getting involved but I find it funny when people who are the issue always blame hard working employees working for a living. Matter of fact, the same employee who he called having “no personality” was actually very nice to us afterwards.
