Paola Tamayo Don’t waste your time or money. After a year and a half I never once met Mr. Remsen in person. We had maybe 4 zoom meetings and every time I felt like he still didn’t know my case and he seemed unprepared every time. I ended up hiring another attorney. I am not the only person who feels this way if you’ve read other reviews I had a very similar experience. Hope yours is better than mine.

Woden Emrys Overpriced garbage with a Lawyer that didnt seem like she knew what she was doing. Gathered us all to appear before the judge without even like passing it by the judge. Never stepped foot in court. With a no contact order and one car that one inept action cost like $50 in wasted gas alone. If that ineptitude was on display the only time I met or talked to her I assume it was there throughout the whole thing as well. Which is why Im now on probation for tackling someone who came at me with a knife.

I was shocked when they told me ( within the 1st 60 seconds) $500 for a consultation and a $20k retainer fee upfront before accepting any type of child custody or parental rights case. Such a shame the kids in moderate to low income situations will never have the benefit of representation from such a great law firm. One more thing money CAN buy; your childs rights. *Edit ; as requested. While I understand the message of " you get what you pay for " that you are trying to convey, that message has no bearing on my original review or interaction with this firm. In fact, I feel like this response just confirms my original statement. Once the well rehearsed statement of upfront fees was given ( the next statement after the greeting ) perhaps a mention of how to find affordable options, self help libraries or alternative resources available for families in need would have made me feel like that paragraph you wrote about giving back to the community ( for reasons outside of gain) would be true and this review wouldnt exist. I would like to remind you I still give credit to the talent in this firm. I called here for a reason. Reviews are about experiences you have with the location or business & this was mine. I am not the only one who has experienced this. I hope sharing my experience may give us all a voice and, in a perfect world, make a small change for the better.

Scott B My company hired him and I am posting about our experience. In my opinion this attorney took our Companies money without ever having the intent of doing proper legal work. He filed a complaint and then did nothing to prosecute and I believe it was both negligent and intentional. I thought it was personal / isolated but read the reviews. It is my belief this person should be barred from the practice of law as soon as possible before more people are hurt. Cartelli please expect to receive my complaint naming you personally.
