Suzette G Our son just finished his first year and it was everything you would hope for in a middle school experience. Sports and outdoor activities every day, balanced healthy organic foods, teachers that care, students that are kind to one another, and fun family events. We are really happy with our decision. And are looking forward to another year at Centner Academy.

Alicia Alvarez-Iglesias Centner Academy goes beyond the traditional model of education by providing a comprehensive, student-centered experience that balances strong academics with emotional growth, entrepreneurial spirit, and wellness. It prepares students not only to succeed in the classroom but to become thoughtful, resilient, and innovative leaders of tomorrow. For parents seeking a school that nurtures the whole child and equips them with the tools they need to thrive in life, this school is truly a standout choice.

Natalia Zulkiewicz Benucci I lost $200, wasted my time, and—worst of all—left my daughter without proper schooling for nearly two months. Moving from São Paulo to Miami with my family was already a big transition, especially since the academic calendar is different in Brazil and the U.S. In December, I visited Centner Academy to enroll my daughter for the school year starting in February, which was what we had agreed upon. Everything seemed set. When I arrived in Miami in January, I contacted the school, and they requested that my daughter spend a full day there for observation and take a test. They also charged me a $200 fee for this process. After that day, they informed me that her enrollment would depend on the results of her interaction and test. At the end of the day, when I picked her up, they did not share the test results. Instead, they told me they would discuss internally and get back to us the following week. Over 10 days went by with no response, so I reached out again. Once more, they asked for more time, saying they needed to discuss further. This back-and-forth dragged on for over a month. During this time, my daughter stayed at home without schooling, waiting for a response. Finally, after constant follow-ups, they informed us that they would not accept her because her English was not strong enough and they lacked the resources to support her as a non-native speaker. I lost $200, wasted my time, and—worst of all—left my daughter without proper schooling for nearly two months. The school never called me in for a personal conversation, did not honor their promised timelines, and failed to communicate clearly. They also never shared the evaluation materials or results that supposedly led to their decision. If you’re considering this school, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. They are neither accessible nor empathetic, and their lack of professionalism caused my family unnecessary stress during an already challenging time.

Alan Fenick I attended Central Beach Elementary School from 1956 to 1958. While the name has changed my memories are still vivid. My teachers especially Mr Paul Rutenberg guided me and mentored me and his memory is with me now that I’m 80yo. The school still looks quite familiar and it to brings back memories. The cafeteria staff were much more than employees, they watched out for you as a friend would. Remember one student’s family didn’t have money for lunches. The staff paid for his lunches and made a take home bag each day for him. The school has such a rich past and a bright future! I will not, can not ever forget my school. Upon graduation from the 6th Grade I went to Ida M.Fisher Junior High just across the street. Then on to Miami Beach Senior High. I was a LPN and Registered Nurse for 52 years!

Cynthia Garbutt Attended a live music concert by music students with the Miami Music Project. Excellent program to teach students how to play instruments and perform live. I hope the staff and administration at Fienberg Fisher continue to genuinely and wholeheartedly support this invaluable education program. Learning to play music greatly advances young students abilities to learn and opens up a world of greater possibilities for their future success. More parents need to volunteer to help the student get prepared for performances. Im not a parent of a student, I have a friend whose child is a music student in Miami Music Project.

mikaella reboh We love Shalom Montessori! The teachers are amazing—caring, attentive, and truly dedicated to each child. The classrooms are bright and filled with wonderful Montessori materials that our kids enjoy exploring. The outdoor play area is fantastic, giving the kids plenty of space to run around and enjoy nature. We also appreciate the regular updates and photos from the staff, which keep us connected to our kids daily activities. Shalom Montessori is a fantastic place for kids to learn, grow, and have fun. Highly recommended!

Millie Veiga My daughter goes there since she was 3. She is 6 now and loves all her teacher, the director, and I am really happy she likes to go to school with her teachers and friends. Wished that is the main office and owners would give a little more help to the staff in all ways to make the school prettier and better because all the teachers deserve that.

Heilyn Servat This is the worst place you can put your child in. My one year old daughter was always sad over there and I put her in another daycare and she was happy again. One of my friends son was there too and my friend found her son and all the 2 years old group alone watching tv, she stayed there for 30 minutes and the teacher never came in to the classroom. And I saw the news the principal is in jail now because of violence with the kids.

Melanie Wolf I had my two kids in this daycare for over 1 year ( 2and 4 years old) and I have to say its the WORST daycare ever. Before I brought my kids there I made some research and tought it cant be as bad as everybody says. Often parents are over protective when its about their kids.... At the beginning in front of me seamed t be everything just fine. The under 1 year old class was great. We were upset that she switched into the 1-2 year old class. When I dropped them off or picked them up, the teachers were always nice in my face. But for my kids it was a nightmare. I didnt understand why the dint want to go there and cried so much when they had to go. Then I started noticing that in the classroom of my 4 year old are only chairs for 30% of the kids. And my son told me they have to share these little beds with anther kid. He always came home with fleas! We treaded them and he went back to school and he got them again. Terrible! Also when we picked them up the teachers started not being so nice anymore. They were in very bad moods. My son kept on telling me that the teacher would hit him. I dont know if its true... we all know how kids can be... but I just wanted to mention it too. Another problem is that in this school NO ONE speaks english. When we had some questions it was always a hustle to translate it on our cell phones, because we dont speak spanish. I am so glad I took my kids out of this school!

Jessica Serrano Poor administration at this school, they dont care about the childrens feelings. You have to be friends with someone from the administration to receive any benefits here... very disappointing.

Kelsey Levey From the moment you step through the school doors, you’re greeted by warmth and kindness. What truly sets Innovative School apart is the sense of community you feel when you are there. Parents are not just welcome-they’re embraced as part of the extended temple and school family. The teachers show our children a type of love and respect that is truly extraordinary! They are dedicated to each child’s growth and well-being. They have fostered a love of learning in both of my children. My 4 year old son comes home and tells me about topics in outer space that I’ve never heard of before and my 2 year old is exploring her surroundings through creative play, songs, art, books, and socializing with her friends and teachers! It is an amazing school and community!

Jen Katz-Burk I am blown away by every aspect of my kids education at the Innovative School. My kids live and learn in an environment that embodies the values of kindness, empathy, honesty, integrity, life-long learning and acceptance while simultaneously being challenged and stretched in their learning in the MOST creative and innovative ways. My Kindergartner is learning to read with joy and my 3 year old has developed a passion for engineering and construction. The kids are deeply known and their interests are supported. This schools values and Reggio Emilia philosophy is growing the next generation of innovative thinkers and I have no doubt that my kids will be change makers as a result.

Maritza Lopez I attempted to gather information from website but I still had some questions, I called and the lady on the phone seemed annoyed and blunt. She said to go to the website that it should tell me there. Completely brushed me off.
