LaTeresa Johnson-Jackson Awesome school my daughter started at 3 years ago and now her 2 younger siblings attend also. The students learn at a fast pace and are above their grade level. The staff is great all around the board. Ms Campbell is the BEST also has a smile on her face and you can tell she loves what she does with the children. The school is VERY diverse and I absolutely love that because children have the opportunity to learn about other students ethnic background and religions. Great school if I could give the school 10 stars I most definitely would.

Abby Waddell I gave this school 1 star only because I had to....This school is by far the worst school Ive ever put my son in. The administration and teachers were awful, very unorganized and very unprofessional. My sons history teacher failed to record his grade in his 9 week progress report and when report cards came home we were very surprised to see a letter D for that subject. I requested a conference with Miss Harris and then discovered she cornered and questioned my son instead of discussing it with me, when we had the conference she was so nasty that i had to end the conversation with her.. At the end of the year when students were being rewarded for improvement there were many students that didnt even receive recognition for their hard work all year long. I will not recommend this school to anyone I know.

Sam (Chillguy367) I am very disappointed in this school because me and my friends at the school we were just talking and so one of us says shut up to the other and they get a conduct cut. Meanwhile, I am hearing girls calling people racial slurs being racist cursing out teachers and students and they dont get in trouble.

Samantha Brady I am profoundly disappointed with how this institution handled a situation involving my sons mental health on October 21, 2024. After struggling to secure an appointment, it became clear that the principal was more focused on my sons absences than on his emotional well-being. This lack of empathy raises significant concerns about the school’s priorities—are they genuinely dedicated to supporting students, or is their concern solely for their image? In addition to my son’s existing stress, he has now developed another medical condition. The school has demonstrated a troubling level of bias, dismissing the severity of his situation and showing little regard for his health. While they are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose, their actions have been deeply inappropriate. To make matters worse, they suggested my son should trust a person they deemed "safe," despite the harm being caused behind closed doors. I strongly advise against engaging with this institution in any capacity. Furthermore, in January, my son was subjected to verbal abuse by a long-term substitute teacher. Although the principal assured me that this would be addressed, I am left questioning the school’s commitment to protecting its students. I also witnessed a disturbing incident where a 4th-grade teacher harshly reprimanded her students as she did not think anyone was listening. This unprofessional behavior was deeply upsetting and calls into question the level of respect and care being extended to the children in this school. Based on these experiences, I am seriously concerned about the environment this institution provides. Parents and the community deserve much more from a school entrusted with their childrens education and well-being.

Rebecca Pizzo Our family is finishing up our fifth year at Rampello. I have children currently finishing 4th and 1st grade and both have had an excellent experience. We have been so happy with the teachers our children have had as well as the experiences theyve been able to have outside of the classroom. The school does a great job of incorporating all the nearby educational opportunities in downtown Tampa to supplement in-class learning. Weve LOVED our older child being able to be part of the music ensembles available and look forward to our younger student doing so as well in the future. Weve been so happy that staff has remained pretty consistent in this current educational environment. The staff and PTSA tries very hard to foster a sense of community in a school where students come from all over the county by offering several opportunities for families to be on campus together and to meet and get to know other school families. While no school is perfect, we have found the administration to be very open to feedback and discussion when issues have been brought to their attention and overall I feel like the staff at Rampello strives to give each child a great learning experience. Our children have thrived there and we are so grateful for the teachers and staff who work so hard each day to create a loving environment for them.

Catrina Raiford Icon Prep in Tampa is truly something amazing. I’ve watched this school grow from having just a few students to now expanding into two schools. Visiting the school makes me want to go back to school myself, and that’s a feeling I didn’t have during my own school days. I’ve been there when all the kids were present, and I’ve seen it when the halls were quiet, and either way, this school has such an inspiring atmosphere. I’m especially proud that it’s a black-owned school—now that’s really amazing!

marcos celis I am a student at Prince. I cant say enough good things about my school! The teachers genuinely care about the students and go above and beyond to help us succeed. The environment is welcoming and there are so many opportunities to get involved- whether its sports, clubs or academic programs. The school also does a great job of preparing us for the future, whether that means college or a career. Ive made great friends here and I always feel supported. If youre looking for a school that values education, community and student success, this is the place to be!

Josiah Oliveras I’m an 8th grade student at this school, and I really enjoy it here. The school is a fun place to be, but it also helps us learn a lot. The teachers are good ESPECIALLY MS DELUNA. They make learning more exciting. Even though we have fun, the school still makes sure we’re learning and doing our best. It’s a great mix of education and fun, and I’m happy to be a student here.

Kadel Akash Extreme favoritism to certain students, specifially the ones with parents as teachers and students who have been there for years. Saw a case of bullying and the faculty did not do anything and said it was just words. Also they care a lot about their public image, so they hunt down students who give them bad reviews. I guess they want to scam more students.

Artyom 144 As a Russian teenager completing my education in America, I really enjoy studying at Lee Academy. Having previously attended two other schools, this is my favorite by far. My teachers include a lot of interesting projects, experiments and a variety of activities. Lee’s small classes allow for great discussion and the teachers provide each of us with individual attention.

Regina A Giving it 4 only because we don’t have a child in the school. We did tour the campus and thoroughly surprised. Curriculum is competitive and prepares your child for the world stage. One of the few school teaching Latin making learning other languages and understanding words much easier. It should be part of the basics. Hope to enroll my children here soon.

Tampa Bounce I know there’s bad reviews of this place, but my son is currently attending and he has not had any issues. He’s made friends at the school, he doesn’t particularly have a lot in common with the other students though. The students and staff have all been nice to him. They are trying to Make sure the kids graduate. The teacher has been communicative about my son. My son was in private school his whole whole life and something with the scholarship got messed up for his senior year (oops on me), but honestly this has been a nice alternative for him. I have had friends with kids in the school before and they said how ghetto it was and how bad their kid did, but that’s also because their kid was making bad choices and such, my son does not have that problem he has not had any issues at all. Can’t wait to see the graduation in May !

Diana Bernal-Silva Im so grateful to be part of this incredible community! My two boys are in kindergarten and absolutely thriving. Their teachers go above and beyond every day, and I feel incredibly lucky that they have such dedicated educators. Every staff and faculty member Ive interacted with has been just as wonderful—always communicative and deeply committed to the students. Having volunteered behind the scenes, I’ve seen firsthand the immense effort they put in, as well as some of the undeserved negativity they sometimes face. It’s unfortunate because they truly have the students’ best interests at heart. If you have the opportunity to send your child here, I highly recommend it!

Trevor Coulter The front office staff (Ms. Cortez) is catty and immature. They have been unnecessarily rude and condescending in all my encounters. Car drop off lines close early. Clearly figuring out kinks to a new school. Would not recommend sending your child to this school Please don’t remove my review again. Other parents should be able to read about my experience. If you are embarrassed by my experience, do better.
