evan king Seeing these reviews be incredibly polarized made me want to leave an honest review as a current student. First off, if you are not ready to pull all nighters, face criticism that may be super harsh, then this school is not for you. This is not a art school in the traditional sense, this is a school that prepares you for industry work. Theyre gonna lay down the hammer on you and build you up for the inevitable crunch you will receive. If you cant handle the curriculum, then you probably wont be able to handle that work in the future. A lot of the reviews from neurotypical people point out how hard this school was on them, so if you fit somewhere in that bubble then maybe consider a career change, or freelance. Now for the price of the school, if youre planning on going here you better not dream of wasting time and slacking off. If you take advantage of the opportunities here and study, build connections with students and faculty, volunteer, you will have an amazing experience. You will grow as an artist and you will be set up for a promising career. The staff knows what they are doing, obviously you arent guaranteed to have a lot of chemistry with them, but they all no doubt have years of experience in their fields. They are not bullies, they are here to help you get better, even if that means giving you the most harsh critique youve ever heard in your life (Me personally Ive only ever witnessed 1 - 3 people get really harsh feedback, so its not even a common occurrence) The school has an amazing career services team. They bring multiple people over a month to give talks, bring recruiters, host job fairs, give resume critiques, all for free, and are still accessible after graduation. My friend already got an internship as a sophomore at a huge company thanks to the schools connections. The cafeteria food is fine? Some days its pretty good, other days theyll have food that no one eats. Its the most average college cafeteria food ever. Now on the darker side, yeah the school is not great at all at handling student misconduct. They are currently being sued for sweeping heavy things under the rug and giving students a slap on the wrist. There are students who are still here who have done horrible things and the school keeps them here. Its a problem that they arent getting any better at. To top this all off, the school has a great growing campus, the faculty are great and know what theyre doing, if you put in the work, you are guaranteed to grow. There are a few places where the school falls flat, but overall if youre looking for a college experience where you can find good friends, get better at what you do, and want a promising career, then Ringling is probably a pretty good choice. Just please dont waste your money if you go here, a good 30 - 40% (ballpark estimate) of students in the year end up dropping out or transferring. Be prepared to consider if you can afford it and if you think youre capable of putting in the work. Otherwise, itll be a huge waste of money

kristina garrett In the process of getting our son in. Weve taken two tours. The first one was of the whole campus and the second one was specifically for the Motion Design. Both times have been very welcoming and highly impressive. Everyone there is so enthusiastic, happy and you can tell they love it there. They are very involved and everyone seems to want to help everyone.

Robin Jacobs I love New College for helping me learn to think freely and critically; to keep an open mind to all different perspectives (especially those that differ from my own); to take initiative to work independently; to focus; to follow my passions; and to research, write, and advocate. I love New College for the structure and space that it provides for developing all these skills - the independent studies in January, the thesis project, the contracts, the narrative evaluations, the world-class professors whose teachings are ones I still mull over regularly 20+ years later. I love New Colleges beloved community and how safe and welcoming it is to people of all walks of life. I love New College for setting me on a path with a lifelong love of learning.

Fuller Insurance @ Santa Rosa Beach We went on a college tour of New College of Florida. New College is a unique honors college that is part of the State University System of Florida. The tour was very informing about how New College focuses on academics, the arts, and a liberal arts college education. While New College is small, it has growth plans in place. The tour guide advised they have hired 15 new multidiscipline faculty members, with a goal to grow the college from about 800 to 1,200 students. Unique Observations: New College is located on Sarasota Bay, which makes for a beautiful and relaxing place to attend college, have special events, and participate in water sports. New College campus is split between the north and south side by Tamiami Trail, with a pedestrian walkover for students. New College is located very close to the Sarasota- Bradenton International Airport, which makes it very convenient to travel to and from the campus. Located in beautiful Sarasota, Florida, New College is closely connected with the local art, cultural, and outdoor recreation scene. For a true liberal arts education, you should consider New College of Florida.

Jade Rivera The journey at this school was no walk in the park but the majority of the things in life aren’t. My experience has definitely been a unique and pleasant one. From Covid-19 to friendships, I have made great memories and obtained a career out of it in the process. You do have to put in a lot of work and extra time to receive the knowledge you need to succeed but it will all be worth it in the end. There are a lot of great teachers ready and eager to help you along the way and plenty of students willing to support you if you allow it. After 1 year of general studies, 9 months of scanning and 3 months of externship, I am proud to say that I have acquired a job and I beginning my road to register. It is my ultimate goal. Although I have officially finished all my class, the school is still allowing me access to the lab and other resources which I think is great. It has been a great experience and I do not regret anything at all.

Mayra Gonzalez The 4 star reviews here are only for the cosmetology program. If you’re thinking about enrolling for ultrasound here…please don’t. I can write a book on all the problems with the school but I’ll save you the read. - [ ] NOT CAAHEP ACCREDITED ( you 1000% need this accreditation if you want a fair chance at succeeding in ultrasound; especially as a new grad) - [ ] Ms. Kim will be kind and smile all throughout your enrollment process. Once you’ve signed the agreement, she will give you rude looks and make sarcastic comments whenever. - [ ] The lab professors are not always the best help, most of the time they are sitting on their phones or having conversations over weekend plans with one another. - [ ] Lianne, the didactic instructor, is the best of the best but she is not always available to help you scan when you need it most. - [ ] You get barely 1 month to learn, practice and scan the module of that month. Ex: you only have about 3 weeks to study, scan and perfect your technique in the pelvic, lower extremity venous/arterial, carotid, abdomen, and thyroid modules. - [ ] The entire scanning program is only 9 months (the last month is your exit exams) THAT IS NOT ENOUGH TIME FOR YOU TO FULLY COMPREHEND AND LEARN ULTRASOUND. You will be teaching yourself 99% of the time. - [ ] Internship….a joke. I waited MONTHS before being sent out to my clinical site. The way they do clinicals is either you already have your own site that is willing to take you in (not everyone takes in a non CAAHEP accredited student) or you have to wait for your turn since they currently only have 6 contracts with clinical sites. They are still sending students from the class of 2020. - [ ] The clinical director is no help whatsoever. She mispronounces the names of ARRT & ARDMS 10000x. She will scare you into not taking the ARRT (because it’s a long exam) when ARRT is most likely the only way you will be able to secure a job as a new grad. She does not respond to emails or phone calls in a timely matter as she oversees the dental and medical assisting students as well. She has way too much on her plate and does not know how to handle it. - [ ] The prerequisite do not prepare you for ultrasound at all, it’s just a way for the school to charge you for classes that you may have to retake as they do not transfer all of your college credits. - [ ] You better hope and pray your class it’s not larger than 10 students because if so then you will be forced to sit outside of the lab (in an area that only has 3 chairs) to wait your turn to practice scanning as they do not have enough machines to facilitate a large class. Please spend your money towards a school that cares.

Danielle Hayden I absolutely love this school, I had some amazing educators , I love how they push you until you get it, there always there when you need them. I just finished the Ultrasound program and I must say I had the best teachers around Lisa and Janine and Marianna are the freaking best. Now, the program was changeling but most things in life are and when its something that you love and thrive for you are willing to over come that challenge at any means necessary. And when I say they were there every step of the way to pick us up and encourage us until the very last day. I thank God daily for the opportunity I was given at Meridian, what ever you put in to your education that is what you will get out of it, and that is with any and everything in life.

Samantha McAdams Amazing, and they are supportive the entire process, My enrolment specialist was absolutely amazing he answered every question honestly and supportive of every question or concern I had. He coordinates every person I need to speak to for financial aid, registrar, bursar, got my scheduled charged to the order I wanted to do my program in, even tracked my textbooks and got them out of the school store after they closed to hold for me because I was not able to get there in time, verification firms, my student ID just in time for my first class. You also take one class every each month instead of four different classes for four months long.

Kathy Ferraro I had an incredible experience at East West College for acupuncture treatments. The interns Kathryn, Kayla, and Alycia were all highly professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. Each session, they took the time to understand my needs and tailored the treatments to ensure I got the best care possible. Their approach made me feel relaxed and confident in their abilities.A special thanks to Dr. Wu, the clinical director, for overseeing the treatments and creating such a supportive and healing environment. The combination of traditional techniques with modern expertise was truly remarkable. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking to improve their health and well-being through acupuncture!"

Shawn Hajek I stumbled across this Edgar Allan Poe event at the campus and was so happy I checked it out. It was a great venue, excellent actors, detailed costumes and delicious cocktails. Poe was such an intriguing writer and these people showed all aspects - I highly recommend the show!! The beautiful campus was a perfect venue and we enjoyed the scenery tremendously.

Sarah K The New College campus is a great trip back to the time when this area was much more surrounded by nature and elegance. Visitors to the campus can see the Ringling Museum and the other museums on campus, but an easy place to check out at sunset is College Hall. Park among majestic, old Banyan trees and make your way behind this gorgeous marble mansion for a great view of the water and a sunset sky.

Rob Brown I have attended this university, and I would not recommend it to anyone who wants to learn something. Do not expect to gain any substantial knowledge from this school. Most of the professors will just play a video from YouTube (mainly TED Talks), which you will watch during class. At the end, you will take a quiz where the professor reads you the answers. Some other professors will just read from a PowerPoint presentation of the textbook, with no engagement or discussion to ensure students are understanding the material. On multiple occasions, I literally had to show professors how to use Blackboard. Overall, I would not suggest this university to anyone. You will be paying $10,000+ per semester, and all you will get are some stupid YouTube videos and people reading you PowerPoint slides , with nothing else to offer in terms of knowledge. This is the truth. I tried it, and you shouldnt unless you like spending time and money .

Haleigh Pettyjohn What a great school! Lovely campus, lovely staff/admin! I came to Everglades not knowing anything about how a university works and they helped me all the steps of the way. I came from a college that dropped my program a month into my classes so I was really concerned about starting from square one again but reached out to Everglades about their parks, recreation and leisure management degree (which is a fairly new program they have), and they’ve helped me tremendously and it took a mere couple of visits to get everything set up for me, made financing and orientation a breeze, and I’m more than ecstatic to be starting this week! I would proudly say if you have any doubts about starting your education to give this university a shot! Reach out to their admissions counselors they are amazing !!

Kaley Ann Graham Being at Everglades University in Sarasota, Florida, offers an unparalleled experience. Sarasota is in a unique “bubble” that stands out for its wealth, opportunity, and beauty, making it a truly inspiring place to study. Everglades University provides the flexibility I need to excel academically, letting me focus on one course at a time, a structure that has allowed me to achieve my best grades yet. I love the owners Victoria and George and their staff is phenomenal. Sarasota is blessed to have a wonderful place like the Spirit University. I’m located in Palm beach county and wish their was a place like Spirit U on my coast. If anyone is looking for spiritual growth and guidance I highly recommend attending the venues that Spirit U have to offer.
