nrtdclub Ziba was amazing!!! I was so eager to get my eyebrows done by her. It had been 3 years since my last threading experience. She went above and beyond. It didn’t hurt at all and she was so fast. She explained how to best care for my eyebrows and what to do moving forward. She is the sweetest, funny, and educating. I am officially never going anywhere else. 100% recommend!!!!

Shah I’ve been going to Ziba for a few months now and she’s great! I appreciate how quick and painless her service is. Other places have left cuts after threading my brows, but not Ziba. She also has a positive attitude that keeps me coming back!

leahgd1 Ziba is fantastic. I recently moved into the area and was searching for a new quality eyebrow threading expert, found Ziba through her excellent reviews. She did not disappoint! She was able to fit me in same day, extremely communicative. I unfortunately didnt have Zelle on my phone, and at the end of service she waited patiently while I downloaded the App in order to pay. She was extremely kind and needless to say, she is now my new threading expert for my brows!

Mia Gutierrez The only reason this has 2 stars is because the artist was very accommodating and happy to take off the lashes when they weren’t what I wanted/expected. I got my lashes done at 7pm and the next morning expressed to the salon that it was 1) not what I wanted and 2) huge clumps were falling out leaving them extremely uneven. I sent the salon a picture of over 10 clumps of lashes in my sink not even 12 hours after I got them done. I came in when I was off work to get them removed and was denied any sort of refund whatsoever. Not even 3 days with the lashes and they practically all were off by the time I got the last clumps removed. Very disappointing in the owner’s customer service. Nothing against the stylist, but the owner was not accommodating.

Rachel Stallings Glenda cut my hair and did an amazing job! I haven’t loved a haircut this much in such a long time. She is also quite funny too. I have a before and then after photos.

Raegan Simpson I took my friend to get eyelash extensions. I was very impressed. The technician was polite and professional. It took about 2 hours for volume lashes to be applied and they looked amazing once finished. Unsure how much my friend paid, and she said it was completely worth it. The shop itself is comfy and has Marilyn Monroe decor. If Im ever back in Gainesville for a day of beauty, LAE Bar is where Im going.

W C 3 Shalana and A Nu Twist Salon are amazing!!! First time ever getting my hair braided, i was scared, nervous, didnt know what to ask. I walked in and she hooked me up, made me feel comfortable and took me in as a Walk-in. 15 mins later I was looking fresh and clean.

Wilma Thomas IMO. Anyone who knows anybody comes here! The best, quickest stylistin town. Was easy getting an appointment and the most friendliest of services! My new place to get my hair "did"!

James Evans Antoinette and her staff are phenomenal with the services they provide. I stumbled upon A Nu Twist almost 6 years ago. I drive the 1.5 hour for servicing as there is nine better in the Southern Region regarding natural hairstyles. Make an appointment and I am certain you will be well pleased.

Michelle Bunn I have had my hair cut and colored in Dallas for 35 years. Most hair stylist focused explicitly on color or cut. Cole does both and she is SUPER talented. Her results are incomparable. I drive an hour each way for my sessions. Always worth it!

Maria Jay I had an appointment here in the Spring of 2022, I write this review now as I wanted to sit with the experience before expressing my concerns - I paid a hefty deposit that they said would be half of the total estimated cost. Once I left my appointment I ended up paying far more than that additional. Also, I was not pleased with the color -I asked for highlights on my blonde hair and it looked almost the exact same as when I went in. Very disappointed because as I was a student at UF, I believe this salon may get very one off clients whom they can get away with charging astronomical prices. I would have been more understanding had the pricing been more transparent prior to service. The hairdresser herself was very nice - I was just overall disappointed, would not return and would not recommend this salong to others.

Lauren K I came into Ciao Bella Salon the day after another salon butchered my hair. I was placed with a stylist named Emily, who I swear is a miracle worker. What I thought was unfixable, Emily fixed it. When I came in my hair had looked like I attempted to do it myself, and I was so embarrassed to go out into public. I didn’t even want my boyfriend to see me. Emily made me feel like a queen by the time I left. She corrected the color, which I did not think was possible. We fixed the cut. She saved my birthday. Not only is she a sweet and caring, but she listens to you and what you want. She is also very knowledgeable in her profession. The salon itself is a wonderful place for anyone to get their hair done. The stylist work amazing with each other and they all truly want what’s best for you! I would highly recommend Ciao Bella salon to anyone. Although Emily, she will make you feel like a queen. Attached are before and after photos - I’m still in awe on how perfect Emily fixed my hair. Thank you Emily for saving my birthday! I am so in love with your work and I cannot wait to see you again!

Brooke Frechette Raisa was so sweet and welcomed me as a new client with open arms and a smile. She made me feel comfortable with my selection of nail application and walked me through the process of what she was doing along the way. Ive never been so please with my nails and will definitely be returning in the near future!

Lana Berry I cannot recommend enough. I have come twice now to get my eyebrows waxed by Moriah. I have had many experiences in the past where stylists have over waxed. Both times she listened to my needs, took her time and truly achieved a result we both were happy with. I really appreciate her patience, I do not feel rushed at all, and you can tell she truly cares about how you feel when she is complete with you. Best experience by far, will come back tenfold, worth every penny. (i never leave reviews but she deserves it)

Chunling Yan Danielle is such an experienced and genuine hair stylist! Not only she has magical hands for the hair, most importantly she really listens to her clients needs and discusses plans thoroughly, including short-term and long-term effects of each decision. I really appreciate the professionalism in her, and I highly recommend her!

Nicole Allard I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored by Danielle for over 20 years. She always uses top notch products and never bleaches my hair. I’ve done the Brazilian Blowout a few times which I absolutely love. She even put extensions in. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. I have a difficult head of hair, but she always does a great job. Thank you, Danielle!

L Max I have been going to Danielle for my hair cuts and color for about 32? years, from my 20’s to my 50’s! She has never failed to keep my hair looking it’s best. I get asked all the time where I get my hair done! When my kids were little and I was staying home with them and went somewhere closer (I drive a hour to see Danielle!) to save money. After a short time I decided that I was going back to Danielle, Even though I would have to go longer between appointments! A rare gem that is very talented with color and cutting! She is a super sweet lady and will have you looking your best!

Tiyana mcCoy I ABSOLUTELY ADORED my first visit with Alexis at RBA salon . I had been looking for a hairstylist in Gainesville . And she is the TRUTH . I booked after hours because my work schedule didn’t permit the day time times and even though I was the last client of the day I felt from the moment I walked in I was met with care . no ohhs or ouches while she detangled and washed my thicke thicke hair . I was on the phone and she was just fast and efficient. She was so pleasant and thorough and takes her time , I’m tender headed and could have fell asleep with her doing my braids but we were yapping so much I looked up and I was done . MONEY WELL SPENT AND SHES WORTH EVERY PENNY .Don’t walk to book her run . Hair also is super soft and seamless I loved my install !

Shoneitra Hall I highly recommend Lexi as a stylist. The only thing that makes me not want to recommend her is the fact that I dont want her to get all booked up lol. Shes been taking care of my hair for about 2 years now and its healthier than ever before. Ive recently transitioned into using her vegan hair products full time and Ill never go back to any other brand. If healthy hair is your goal, Lexi is your girl!

Shjandmaar Harmon Alexis is not only professional in her craft but knowledgeable and that is hard to come by these days with stylists! She has been the only person to do my hair for the past 4 years. I trust her fully and load my appointment up every time I book! You won’t regret it and your hair will thank you!

Deja Moore Beverly is very good at what she do, she gets you in and out in a timely manner, I can tell her what kind of style I want and she just does it, she’s good.
