Eldred Brown For the first time in years I got a hairstyle and got it from this place. My hair came out great and Cindy the owner was very accommodating and nice. I will be back for a retwist soon, looking forward to it.

Sara Mossman Cindy is always so friendly and welcoming to me! Today I had an amazing exfoliating facial by Latoya. My face and neck feel totally awesome and revived. I had a great response to the products she used. I am so excited to re start an evening routine to keep up this good result and good feeling. Cant wait to go back next month. So relaxing, too.

Every time I felt like a super model. I finally had the trust in her to ask for a little bit of highlights and LOVED them! I loved them so much I came back two weeks later for more! Shy is not only very professional but she takes the time to know what you desire and brings it to life! Her consults made me very comfortable with the questions and outcomes I had. She has gone above and beyond with all services and I will be a lifelong customer!

Lesley Healey I’ve been going to see Lucy for 8 years. If I moved to California, I would fly to Florida to see Lucy! No one but Lucy will touch my hair. She is amazing! The salon is welcoming, always clean with a warm atmosphere. All of the girls are very talented, Ive never heard of an unhappy person to leave the salon. Cassie Wegeng I cannot say how thankful I am for Angie and her team of talented stylists! I went in today for some color correction after getting highlights at another salon that just weren’t quite right. Mercedes did an incredible job on a root blend and I’m SO grateful. I walked in feeling pretty self conscious and left feeling amazing. Not only did the actual service exceed my expectations, I brought my 6 month old (which is nerve-wracking in and of itself!) and they could not have been more accommodating or thoughtful. Angie even sat with my baby during my wash (which was so lovely, by the way…comfortable wash basin chairs DO exist!). The whole experience was truly above and beyond!! 10/10 recommend :)

Heather Pagington I have been going to Lisa for my hair for over 10 years. I have had various cuts, colors and styles. When I suggest a certain cut or color Lisa always takes the time to explain professionally why it won’t work. She is usually right. She is very professional, knowledgeable and listens to you with what you want for the cut, color and/or style. She even worked with me and my hair while I went through Chemo. She is very patient and kind!!

Ilene Sabulsky My experience at Salon Uptown Downtown was incredible. I have been going to Lisa, the owner, for several years and she’s never disappointed me. I have gotten cuts, colors, highlights, blowouts, braids, “fairy tinsel”, Keratin straightener, and my newest exploration, blue and purple highlights throughout my hair. Lisa takes the time to get to know her clients and their hair. She will make suggestions to guide you to your hair goal without being rude or pushy. I walk in looking like an hot mess and I walk out looking like a movie star. She has a lot of patience and knowledge about famous old styles and new. Shes the best…I just love her!!

Ginny Castellano As always I had an excellent experience with Freddie D. Im tired of the every 3 week grey cover up, and know I wont be able to go cold turkey and look at the grey and brown mess.I knew this would require a experienced colorist, and Freddie is slowly lightening my dark hair to soften the transition to full on grey. Love the effect he achieved! Would definitely recommend Freddie to anyone who needs a well experienced professional.

Angela Romero Amazing salon! I got the best haircut and treatment Ive ever had. I have naturally thick wavy hair that can resemble a brillo pad at times (thanks humidity!) but I walked out with beautifully cut and well conditioned gorgeous hair for the first time ever! Heather does a great job cutting my hair. She took the time to find out exactly what I wanted, and consistently does it time and again. Her services are very reasonably priced. Lori Lindstrom I love my beautician Christina! Shes the best!! She colors my hair whatever color I ask for. Shes so good that if you want to get in to see her, you may have to wait a couple weeks. But shes worth the wait.

rachel white Ive been going to this salon for a about a year now and Ive never met nicer hairstylist. They will take their time with you not rush to get more people in. I have seriously thick hair and my hair stylist Shelby takes her time to cut and color. I came in for just a trim got their at 12:30 and left at 2. Shelby cut, blow dried and curled my hair!!!! The prices are great and very affordable. Its a very friendly environment and I feel so welcomed. Definitely the best salon i have been to would recommend to anyone! :)

Meredith Mcnellis Mandy and the staff at Its a Secret are amazing. I had my first facial ever by Mandy today and Im hooked! It felt amazing, my skin already looks like it has improved, and I cant wait to come back. Not only did I receive a facial but also one - on - one advice and tips about my skin health; which I really appreciated. The salon is located in downtown Bradenton on the river and is a lovely, warm, welcoming spot. Thank you Mandy for such a lovely experience.

colette oreilly Brandi is a great stylist who always does an exception job on my hard to manage hair. She has done my daughters hair before prom and other special occasions and we are always more than pleased with everything she does from cuts to colors and styling.

Brenda Guzman I started coming here when I moved and the prices were awesome! I stuck with one hair stylist and she was great one day I asked to do my eyebrows and she completely messed them up . I wasn’t rude I was still willing to pay for them but I just told her I didn’t like them and it’s fine she caught a whole attitude snatching my card and every time I walk in she ask one of the other girls to take care of me . She was a great hair stylist I just didn’t want her to do my eyebrows and I didn’t appreciate her attitude at all . Just wish she was more nice . Thank you!

Areddwolf Best hair salon in Bradenton! Nancy did a fantastic job on my highlights and cut! She is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The salon is very clean and beautiful. We should all support our local businesses that were affected by the shutdown and Bayside Hair Salon is definitely one that deserves it! They were very flexible on scheduling and took extra time to make sure my hair was perfect.

Matthew Rosenfeld I originally walked in 2 months ago. Bonita greeted me and said she specializes in mens hair cuts. So, I sat down., I was impressed that she didnt try to get me out of her chair in 15 minutes like most of the "chop shops" out there. She took her time. Made suggestions and explained why she made those suggestions. I usually have no idea how I want my hair, but Bonita made it easy. Bottom line, she did a great job and I will be a regular....
