Elizabeth Hernandez Great establishment my hair is very damaged and I did not want to cut it. I called the shop and Eveta kindly helped me out. There were no opening at this shop or any other shop anywhere!! It’s my birthday weekend and I had a sweet fifteen that I have to attend to. I am From CT so I had no clue where I could get my hair done. Eveta literally squeezed me in and did a beautiful job. I got boxed braids with extensions for the first time so no need to chop my hair off Thank God. And thank you Eveta for going the extra mile for me. She even came in on her day off to style it before her own even she had to attend to. She truly went the extra mile and I thank you for that. The shop was nice and everyone else was very friendly and helpful. When I visit Florida again I will definitely go back to get my hair done by Eveta again!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Andrealy Louis Please don’t go here if you have natural hair type of 4a-d. they put relaxer/perm I. The shampoo without me even being acknowledged of it just to make it easier for them. It hurts me how after weeks of having my hair straightened I washed it and my hair didn’t regenerate back to it natural hair texture. Sneaking perm into the shampoo/conditioner is evil work, even worse to the fact that they don’t tell anyone and they just do it cause it easier for them to manage the hair which is stupid. I’d thought and even wanted to sue them for this. Changing someone natural hair texture/state is evil work. There’s no good being done out of it except for the better of management of the hair for them. Don’t go here if you’re black and have typical 4-type hair. You can’t really trust anything nor anybody now these days. Sad really I miss my hair texture back. You see how in the middle of my hair is straight, that’s due to the relaxer/perm

J. Michael Very weird experience for me. I walked in and was greeted in spanish by what I thought were customers waiting to be seen. As I was waiting these 2 ladies asked me what I wanted and I told them I wanted to get my daughters hair cut. Im assuming the one lady was a stylist and did not speak any English so the other lady there was translating what I wanted for my daughter. Because we couldnt communicate I simply had to walk out and find another location.

Mia Felix I have been coming to this salon to see Raiza for years, and my experience has always been exceptional. Raiza is beyond skillful she always makes my family and my hair look amazing. She is always courteous, attentive and goes above and beyond for her clients. This salon is always very clean. Owner and staff are very friendly and Im always greeted as soon as I walk in. 10/10 Would recommend this salon to everyone.

Mel Garcia I went into this salon and saw Ross for a deep condition and blow dry. During this visit I didn’t realize that relaxer was secretly put into my hair. I washed my hair today one week later and it smells like chemicals after shampooing 3 separate times! My curl pattern is completely gone. I’ve requested a refund and got no response.

Alia Swart Carmen at JJ Beauty Salon is EXCELLENT!!!! After having a long hospital stay, my mom wanted her hair cut badly. My mom is VERY particular and her hair is complicated to cut correctly. Carmen was OUTSTANDING with her difficult short style and my mom has never been happier with her cut. Carmen takes her time and is so meticulous in her work. I appreciate her attention to all details and making my mom feel so happy. Its a first come, first serve salon so bring reading material in case there is a wait.

Olivia Odileke Carmen took my curl short hair and transformed it to a straight curl style. My hair is natural black hair and wash, blow dry, flat iron, and then curl my hair. It was just what I wanted. She is truly a professional and skilled stylist. I asked for price upfront and it was reasonable. I will be coming back soon.

Keila Estalella Anna is my stylist for over 3 years she work very good.Last time I got my hair done I made a mistake by adding the tip on my card when I always tip with cash. Anna reverse the transaction to fix it and something most to happen and the bank cancel the transaction and I didn’t realize into about a month when the transaction went through. I just hope that my stylist doesn’t think that it was intentional.

Jennifer Hudson I gave this salon a shot, new to the area, the hair cut is really bad, still trying to grow it out, May haircut.. The stylist chopped my back where I couldnt see her "work" just why would she do that...poor business practice, possibly issue with Anglo women? needs training. Sorry but if I knew I would have looked further. I think it is really difficult to get a good stylist here. Love the state, not some work ethics.

Shanice Jeria I just did my weave sew-in and I came in looking for a face-framing layer cut and curls. The last place I went acted snobby to cutting hair extensions, especially weave. Luis was very nice, non-judgmental, and well-versed in black hair and culture. I appreciated and was very thankful for his diverse nature.
