Evelyn Sushinskiy PLEASE DON’T COME HERE I never write reviews, however, my sister and I were treated very badly. I took my little sister here to get a balayage for her birthday. We showed the stylist (Patrick) what we want and when he was finished. I realized the color of the hair did not change at all, it was still brown. He said once we go outside it will be more noticeable, so I trusted him and I left. As soon as we left, we realized that it’s still brown. We came back 20 minutes later and he refused to fix her hair or refund us anything. So basically, I paid $400 to bleach my sister’s hair and make it brown again.

Elizabeth Monico Both myself and my adult daughter have recently had total hair experiences at *the* salon. Every stylist - and the owners - were very knowledgeable about their products and the differences of our hair. Celeste squeezed me in last minute. In my short 20 minutes with her, I learned that Ive been *not* taking care of my hair and scalp my entire 52 years. Incredibly knowledgeable about the products they sell. Lily graciously gave my daughter a brand new look (short notice again and on a Saturday). My daughters hair was past her bum. Now its just below her shoulders. It looks so healthy. Her words: "Played with the hair cut more and absolutely love it! Lily did a phenomenal job!". Again, so very much knowledge!

Daniela R It was my first time here but it definitely wont be my last! I came in for a color correction and David took my Pinterest inspiration picture and turned it to a reality! Im obsessed with the color and he left my hair silky smooth. He also cut it in a way that it could look good blown-out as well as with my natural curls. Everyone here was so sweet and attentive. Jeff and his team really do amazing work!

Arlyne Rondon If you are looking for a salon in Jacksonville that can do fabulous ash blonde highlights and conditioning treatments, VIP Brazilian Beauty Salon won’t disappoint. Jeff and his professional staff are very charismatic, friendly and very dedicated to making your hair beautiful. I walked in with gray dull hair and walked out a fabulous healthy blonde. I am very satisfied and would recommend them 110%. A shout out also to David for a wonderful blowout. My hair is bouncy and pretty. VIP Brazilian Beauty Salon is top notch quality hair care. Miss Mathis I have sister locs and love coming to see Tiffany at Glam Hair Studio to get faux locs crochets on top of my locs. If you want to change your hairstyle without damaging your locs, schedule an appointment with Tiffany. You wont be disappointed.

Seidah El-Amin Want braids book with Tiara, want a blow out book with Shan. Ive had great experiences with both. I took my 7yr old daughter to Shan and she loved it, she got blow out and style (it was her first time at a salon).....only bad thing is time so dont be in a rush :-), not because of them but just because a previous client could have been late or wanted an extra service.

Rain Robinson Tee did an amazing job on my Goddess Locs. I get compliments everywhere I go! They take good care of your hair and make sure you are satisfied with the results. Im very picky with my hair, but have been a repeat client at Glam Hair Studios; they have availability and will work with your schedule.

Elexus Harriel BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY TYPE OF SEWINS, NOT LUXURY. I came in on 1/12 at 1:30 pm. I had an appointment with the owner for closure sewins. When I came in, there was an older lady who did my wash and conditioning. She did not wash the back of my head, only the front and sides, which left my head extremely itchy throughout the day. When it was time for the sewin, the braid down was terrible, she used dirty braiding hair, which made my hair itchy. After she was down braiding my hair, she went to another client to do their silk press, which held me up when she finally came back to do my sewin it was around 3:30pm. She did not pluck or bleach my closure. When she started the sewin, it was rushed. I came in with a 2x6 closure and 5 bundles of Brazilian straight hair. When she came to the 3rd bundle, she sew in half the bundle and STOLE the other half. There was another stylist who assisted her with that. When she came to the 4th bundle, she was done she did not put in my 5th bundle. She didnt properly flat iron my hair and talked down about my hair but stole it. I dont know if she thought I didnt know anything about hair, but she is sadly MISTAKEN. PLEASE PUT TRUST IN THIS REVIEW. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A SEWINS!!!!!! Maybe for her signature silk press that shes so good at but nothing else. I will never come back to this lady again for a bad job on my hair, and the fact that she stole from me, she is not meant to be trusted. I gave her a little tip so she can buy her some better hair Instead stealing somebody elses. Mind you I paid $200 Plus $20 For the deposit

Jatisa McCray Got a blow out for the first time in years it was so soft silky and fluffy, Ms.Trina was very nice . & she didn’t excessively trim my hair off , I was never at first bc most stylists just butcher your hair off . She only cut what needed to be cut . Defly would go back she was very gentle on my head !

R Jones This is my daughters second time visiting Salon Red. She gets the Silk Press, so of course she wants to go to the "The Blow Out Queen" Katrina. Wonderful Service. Easy booking and timely fashion. This is my daughters go-to after visiting 4 different salons.

Lovely Smidge Lisa and Chris are awesome! I got my hair bleached by them and love how it looks. They are definitely professional but very friendly and down to earth. I really love how my hair looks! Before and after pics below for perspective!

Kalee Everytime I go to Rose Darling Salon, I feel super comfy and welcomed by Christian and Lisa. They are super down to earth and chill. They are both masters at what they do and their salon is always clean and cute! Ive never felt more confident with my hair cuts than I do now that I go to Rose Darling Salon.

Isabel Stanley Finding Rose Darling Salon was a total blessing!!! Coming from Austin TX, where talent seemed to be over flowing, I never thought Id find something or someone equivalent here. But I was wrong!! Lisa is crazy crazy talented. She takes the time to hear me out before she does anything and then she executes with precision and beauty! I feel lucky to have found her. I had originally thought that Id wait to get my haircut every time Id visit Austin but I dont feel that way any longer. Lisa is my new fairy hair godmother. The feel of Rose Darling is also so chic, in one of my favorite areas of Jacksonville. Lastly, I have very curly/wavy hair and Ive had long hair all of my adult life and decided I needed to cut it all of. Ive gotten so many compliments and my hair looks and feels so healthy. Im so so happy. Lisa and Rose Darling Salon has gained a customer for a very very long time!

Tried it She (It) The salon is nice and very prompt. My stylist Angela sat me at the sink to wash my hair and asked if she could use Dawn dish soap to wash my hair. She said because my hair was so oily and not to worry she would give me a hydration treatment. So without asking questions because shes the pro.. I say sure. She gave me some tips on how to care for my hair and prevent breakage. At the end of my service I was charged for the hydration treatment that I thought she was doing because she was using Dawn instead of what she called expensive shampoo. I would have appreciated knowing that upfront. In my opinion Dawn should not be used on all hair types. My hair was so dry and flaky the next day I couldnt believe it. $200 was way too much in my opinion. Ill do my own twist from now on. I would still recommend based on the client that got straight styles. Update. When I took the twist out the ones in the back looked amazing but the ones at the top and the front didnt really hold. They started poofing out a lot quicker than the rest. Shocked at the Owner response. Now youre trying to be nasty. Like I told you that day and yesterday. I washed my hair every week or every 2 weeks. I should have posted the pictures of my two strand twist when I do them myself. No thanks.

Imani Angella has been amazing hair stylist and is always my go-to for my relaxers. My hair has thrived and grown so much ever since I met her. She educated me on how to better care for my hair with quality hair products. And compared to other stylists, I dont leave with any chemical burns!

Petite Jacque Angela has been my stylist several years now and I am amazed at her work. I have natural hair and get silk presses monthly now. Each press lasts me until my next visit about 4 weeks. It has been my go to protective style and has made my life much easier. Highly recommend if you want manageable and healthy natural hair.

Debra Hill Zoe is the best! I had an amazing experience with Zoe! The attention to detail, skill, and professionalism were top-notch. My highlights came out beautifully blended and the cut was flawless—both stylish and easy to maintain. On top of that, Zoe was so friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. I’ve received so many compliments on my hair, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Mighty Mom Zoey cut my hair a few days ago. She did a good job. While I was there she offered to tint my eyebrows. Unfortunately, she forgot to set a timer and my eyebrows turned out extremely dark. I have fair skin and I ended up looking like a clown. I went home feeling distraught. My sister suggested I go back and have her fix it. When I contacted Zoey for help she made a couple of suggestions but offered no further assistance. Im 64 years old and I didnt feel confident trying anything on my own. I just assumed she would take responsibility and at least attempt a fix. I was completely wrong. My sister even called the shop and spoke with Christine to see if we could get some help, but to no avail. After several more attempts Zoey finally reached out to me. I showed up for the appointment only to have Christine come over and insist I was making a big deal out of nothing. I felt harassed. Zoey finally put me in a chair and worked on my eyebrows for an hour. She was successful at making them lighter. What I dont understand is why they both had to belittle me when I was just asking for help with a mistake Zoey Made. I get it, everyone makes mistakes. But their total lack of compassion and empathy was uncalled for. In the end, I paid $90 to be treated horrifically.

rfrantzich DON’T COME HERE. They do not take responsibility for the stylists. My hair was cut unevenly and rushed. I asked the woman twice if she would like to make sure it was not finished and she haughty told me it was. The staff is unfriendly from reception to hairstylists. Was told one price got charged a higher price. Just not a great experience. I called to complain about my haircut was rudely told to just come back and we will fix it, I told her no way I was too traumatized by the cut and left it at that. The woman who cut my hair did take my phone number and there was no return phone call to salvage this situation by this place. I have reached out several times and I have had no response. If you plan on doing nothing you should not leave a response to this post.

Silva Sidoti I went to see Jamie after my hair got thin and bleached out from a thyroid condition and too much sun exposure. She gave me the most perfect hair color and some beautiful hair extensions. I truly feel like a new person with so much more confidence. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Fay Wright I recently got my hair done at Pretty Green Salon by the owner Jamie and I am blown away. The salon is beautiful, welcoming and Jamie is truly a master of her craft. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and was able to achieve and blow away my expectations. Finding someone you trust with your hair is hard but I truly recommend Jamie and the team at Pretty Green if you are looking for a local place to get your hair or other beauty services done. I also love their use of all organic products! Not having that ammonia smell while getting my hair dyed was a game changer and my hair truly hasn’t felt better. Can’t wait for my next hair appointment!

Melody Serrano New to the area. Walked in to inquire on rates and availability. Spoke to Raven, the owner, and set up an appt for 2 days later for haircut. Just left from my haircut appt. Its a warm friendly environment. Nice vibe with music playing. Everyone was friendly, but I was working with Raven. She cleaned up my overgrown hairstyle. Helped give pointers on places to check out in the area for food/music. She did a wonderful job on my super thick hair. I definitely will be going back! Thank you Raven.

Ms Mason SAVED MY LIFE!!!!! Long story short....took the wig off after wearing for years but I knew my hair needed to be chopped off from damage and I wanted a perm so I went to a "known" salon for my makeover. When I left that night I was so hurt I didnt have the strength to speak. I just took my hair down and went to sleep (not to mention the money I wasted). Next morning husband found Salon 180. I called and spoke to Angelica which was able to fit me in at 930 Saturday AM. When I arrived, the place was spotless and everyone was so pleasant! Angelica....GOD SENT!!!! I was in her chair 20 minutes after arriving and she performed a miracle!!!! I didnt think there was any hope but there was. I was so happy that my eyes became glossy. Guess who found her permanent hair salon???? So look, whether your hair is in trouble or you just need that look....GO TO SALON 180!!!! They stand by their word and you wont be disappointed! Denise Taylor I had the WORST experience ever at Booksy: Appointment confirmed: Salon180 Kiera Crooms I spent $90 on hair and she stole the hair I purchased and added old hair to my style. I noticed the difference when I got home. Went to the salon and the stylist confirmed I have two types of hair. DO NOT TRUST THIS PERSON‼️

Kyleen Zokus I had my first visit at bare studios. I did not see anyone for hair but did see the results of a few clients while I waited and was impressed. I met with Ana for my lip blushing appointment. Ana was great, knowledgeable and easy to speak to she helped me choose the perfect shade, and explained the entire process/ what to expect. She provided balm to use for the recovery phase which was appreciated. I am almost five days post blushing and so happy with my results and the color. I highly recommend Ana. One of the best things I’ve done cosmetically for myself.
