  • Sophias Beauty Salon - Jacksonville La’Reesha Clercira: I called in advance I was told $65 for silk press but when finished being serviced I was told $110. It took almost 25 minutes when I arrived for me to get serviced because they were talking and buying an Apple Watch & AirPods from someone. I’m unsure if they changed the price because of my hair type but I was satisfied with my results. Kinda salty though because when I left the salon it started to rain. Hopefully it’s different next time I come
Tousled Hair Salon, LLC - Jacksonville Tina J: The absolutely BEST salon in town! Katy and her team are the nicest people. I always feel like family when I go! I 100% would recommend their services to anyone!
Adrienne Michelles Salon & Spa - Jacksonville Tess G: I would like to start off by saying, I feel bad to post anything negative about my experience as the staff was overly welcoming. Extremely sweet and the salon is beautiful and very tidy. I cannot stress enough how sweet everyone is. However, this was a very unfortunate night for us. We were accidentally triple booked and I felt so bad, we called early that morning to see if they had one more spot available and they squeezed me in. (There was a slight scheduling mix up and that made her triple booked) I went with my sister and mother. My sister was told her hair would be 150 dollars and was charged 50 additional dollars for toner without being told and 45 for maybe a 1/3 inch cut my sister didn’t ask for as in the beginning she specified she was unsure if she wanted a cut but, Adrienne just started cutting my sisters hair without asking. My sister was originally told 150 and wound up floored when she was told her total was 250 dollars. She was promised a balayage and received simple highlights which she explicitly explained she did not want, they look extremely lazy and streaky...my nanny said they look like they’ve been grown out for 3 months....its almost disgusting how outrageously overpriced and completely unlike the pictures my sister had shown Adrienne. My mother had gone in for a nanoplasty and was told mid-session she could not wash it for 5 days or dye it for 1 week. Knowing this prior my mom absolutely would NOT have gotten this procedure done, as she likes her hair in a particular way for her job. This seems like something important to mention prior to an appointment so the client could prepare themselves properly. She was frustrated and left with her hair flat and with an orange cast (her hair is naturally black). The women was VERY heavy handed and pulled on her hair with the flat iron and unfortunately burned the ends of her hair. She and my sister are now crying and out 550 dollars (total). My hair was a homemade mess I needed fixed. I have a lot of hair and I understand she was very busy but I only re-colored 1/3 of my hair (underlights/peekaboo highlights) It was a swamp green from at home dye and the bleach could not lift it I wanted it blue and it became a a bright teal which looks fine. However, I am not a hair expert but the hair is 3 different colors at the roots and now i’m too upset to put my hair up.... My roots are blonde, brown and green not even blue....She also neglected to show me my roots so i was surprised when i went home and put my hair up. I genuinely would rather be told something cannot be done with my hair in 1 appointment than pay 200 dollars for 1/3 of my hair dyed 3 colors. I was told my hair would cost 150 dollars as well and I believe I was charged for a blow dry which she did not tell me was extra. I hope I save you all some time and money with my honest review....I wish I had seen an honest review before my family left with ruined hair and out nearly 1000 dollars. Overall, it was a night to remember....in a very unpleasant way. I do not say that lightly. **REFUND/CUSTOMER SERVICE*** We reached out with a neutral party (my godmother) for any kind of compensation and she was told to leave her name and number as she would receive a call back from the owner. We have waited nearly a full week for some type of response after being told we would receive a call back from Adrienne herself which we never received. I cannot say i’m shocked as Adrienne has handled this whole situation very unprofessionally and this to me speaks high volumes about her level of customer service and what matters most to her which is not customer satisfaction. Something else important to note is that her salon is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau.
West Coast Hair Design Inc. - Jacksonville Marissa H: West Cost Hair Design is the best place I have been too! They make you feel so comfortable and make you feel beautiful again. Lol! Heather is amazing with my hair. Takes her time and explains everything to you. Thank you guys again!!
Pretty Green Salon and Spa by Jamie Marie - Jacksonville Silva Sidoti: I went to see Jamie after my hair got thin and bleached out from a thyroid condition and too much sun exposure. She gave me the most perfect hair color and some beautiful hair extensions. I truly feel like a new person with so much more confidence. I cannot recommend her highly enough! See my true before and after!
Haute Headz Jax - Jacksonville Kylie Cummings: So I booked a standard haircut and wash , I wanted some long layers and to keep my length. Pretty standard right? My stylist was Bernette. Shes absolutely horrible my layers were choppy and one side was longer she wanted about 6 inches of my hair cut off. I said no and she did about 4 off (not much better). She kept insulting my hair saying my spilt ends were super high (I have previous layers so they were layers not my entire head) she couldnt seem to understand that. When washing my hair she had freezing water and it kept getting in my ears (granted I didnt say anything because some people say cold waters better than hot) but she only warmed it up when she had to wash the shampoo off her hands. I also wanted face framing the photo I showed had the layers starting right above her shoulders she cut them at my chin..... at the end she showed my my hair and I looked in the mirror I held in tears as I was given some 80s bangs done by a 3 year old. The other times Ive been here the ladies have been great.... just not Bernadette or whatever her name is. My mother payed so Im not sure of the exact price(I sat in the car and cried that my beautiful hair looked horrible) but it was still too much for what I got. Please of you go here dont ask for Bernadette. She also kept editing insulting me... "god you must love heat your spilt ends are crazy" was one that stuck.... I cant remember the last time I used a straightener. Please please dont make the mistake i made going.
Be Styled Salon Boutique - Jacksonville Danyelle Freeman: By far the best pixie style I’ve had! The staff was very professional, my appointment started on time, and Alnissa listened & executed to exactly what I wanted. 10/10 highly recommend. I’ll be back every time I come to Jacksonville!
Hair Unlimited - Jacksonville Debra Hill: Zoe is the best! I had an amazing experience with Zoe! The attention to detail, skill, and professionalism were top-notch. My highlights came out beautifully blended and the cut was flawless—both stylish and easy to maintain. On top of that, Zoe was so friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. I’ve received so many compliments on my hair, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
Salon Red by (The Blowout Queen) - Jacksonville Elexus Harriel: BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY TYPE OF SEWINS, NOT LUXURY. I came in on 1/12 at 1:30 pm. I had an appointment with the owner for closure sewins. When I came in, there was an older lady who did my wash and conditioning. She did not wash the back of my head, only the front and sides, which left my head extremely itchy throughout the day. When it was time for the sewin, the braid down was terrible, she used dirty braiding hair, which made my hair itchy. After she was down braiding my hair, she went to another client to do their silk press, which held me up when she finally came back to do my sewin it was around 3:30pm. She did not pluck or bleach my closure. When she started the sewin, it was rushed. I came in with a 2x6 closure and 5 bundles of Brazilian straight hair. When she came to the 3rd bundle, she sew in half the bundle and STOLE the other half. There was another stylist who assisted her with that. When she came to the 4th bundle, she was done she did not put in my 5th bundle. She didnt properly flat iron my hair and talked down about my hair but stole it. I dont know if she thought I didnt know anything about hair, but she is sadly MISTAKEN. PLEASE PUT TRUST IN THIS REVIEW. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A SEWINS!!!!!! Maybe for her signature silk press that shes so good at but nothing else. I will never come back to this lady again for a bad job on my hair, and the fact that she stole from me, she is not meant to be trusted. I gave her a little tip so she can buy her some better hair Instead stealing somebody elses. Mind you I paid $200 Plus $20 For the deposit
