Guivi Villalona Went on my lunch break, for a quick gel polish. Was not given price up front nor prices listed. I was charged an exorbitant amount for this quick service, not even a mini manicure was involved. I paid $35 and My nails look terrible and embarrassing. Would not recommend and not going back to a place that over charges and under services.

Jena H I just went here with my daughter, and we will definitely be coming back. The people there are nice. They did a fantastic job on both of our nails. Even my daughters nails that are very short. She gave them a picture of what she wanted, and they made it possible. All the things that make it great. - It is family owned - staff was extremely friendly - It is clean - great prices It is a nail salon I would definitely recommend.

Bruce & Rachel First introduced to this shop by a friend and had a great experience, but the second time around was what blew us away! Great people running/working the salon. Excellent work, or craftsmanship is what it really is. They really care about you leaving 100% satisfied with your nails and check throughout the process! Kevin and his dad did my daughters manicure for prom, we selected the designs for each finger and he changed her thumb up multiple times so she could get exactly what she wanted!! Most beautiful manicure she has EVER had! And Hillary waxed her face and spoke with us about natural skin care and gave amazing advice ❤️ We will never go to another nail salon, we have found our forever salon

Alexis Bellamy Love love love my hair!!! Trisha did my hair and she did such an amazing job. She took her time, paid attention to detail and made my vision of what I wanted come to life. I have gotten multiple compliments definitely will be going back to her.

Laurie Z I went to Blue Door for the first time last night and was absolutely blown away. I met the most amazing stylist who gave me the perfect haircut, I mean so perfect I would not change a thing. The price was great too. Their was a sweet young lady at the front desk who graciously gave me some coupons and I bought lotion and scrub that has the most wonderful orange and honey scent. A wonderful experience all around and did I mention Stacy the stylist who is hands down the best stylist I have ever been to. I will never have anyone else so my hair else again.

Veronica Townsend I had a wonderful first time at Blue Door during a visit to the Sarasota area & I will definitely be back! The spa staff are so welcoming and friendly. The environment truly helps you relax even when you are not in the designated room getting your service. Keira gave an incredible facial that tops the list for one of my favorites ever. The complimentary sauna service enhanced my visit so the whole appointment truly felt like an experience, and not just a visit. Highly recommend if you’re local or visiting the area!

Joanne Winars I get hard gel—the type that is not removed each time you go in. Danny is excellent, a perfectionist and I’m out in just under an hour.

Kimberly Thompson The technician I had was very nice and kind, however clearly new. He painted my toes then proceeded with next steps/cuticle removal, etc., completely backwards from typical. Thought maybe it was just ‘their style’ but another tech three chairs down did it in the ‘normal’ routine. Did not do callous removal but I paid for upgraded pedicure. Poor training I suppose which isn’t the fault of the employee. A lady kept coming over and saying something to him and handing him other items to use but it was not worth what I paid. I only paid because poor training is not the fault of the employee.

Kendra Anderson Danny, Amy, and Bruce are amazing! This is the best nail salon I’ve been to tamo far. They are super friendly, they’re patient, and are sure that you are happy with your experience! The price isn’t crazy expensive either compared to other places. Just be sure to have cash when giving a tip because it will not be applied to the final bill. I love how they broke down every thing that I was being charged for and why. It was a great experience and will definitely be going back!

Dee Leboff I read the other reviews. If you want posh and pampered and someone to ask you about your life, then this may not be the salon for you. I go to the woman and have for years. Is she overly friendly? No, she is just quiet. But she is consistently fast and good. She remembers my specific preferences. I go in, read a magazine and I am out in great time, with nails done exactly the way I like. She catches any potential issues and their price has remained more than competitive. I would not go anywhere else.

Holly Watson If I could rate a 0 I would. My nail polish lasted not even 24 hours before it literally fell off my nails. I returned the next day and complained. The owner (man) said they only last for one day. I said no they should last a lot longer than that. He said I will do only one more time for you. By god the second time done only lasted 12 hours before they chipped off. Mind you I did no house work, or swam or anything that would cause them to fall off. I would never ever go back but I will tell people not to go there. I had a mani pedi for $30.00 plus gave them a $10.00 tip. Never again.

Jennifer Strohl The worst. I have never walked out of a nail salon. Today I did. RUDE RUDE RUDE. I dont know how they could possibly stay in business. Most of us today get gel nails and most of us know that using those drills is best kept to an absolute minimum because it destroys your nail bed. I asked her to please not remove the existing gel that way and she got all huffy because I guess I was wasting her time. She was on her cell phone walking around and put my hands in acetone. I asked why she didnt wrap my nails in foil with cotton soaked in acetone like everyone else does and she said they dont do that and it has to be filed off with the drill. I said Ill go somewhere else and left. If she would have been even slightly nice it might have gone differently. Obviously they arent interested in their reputation at all. Do yourself a big favor and skip this awful place. It didnt even look sanitary and they dont belong in a service business.

Rosemary is not only a true professional but also an absolute delight to be around. She worked her magic on both my daughters and me, and we couldnt be happier with the results! From the moment we walked in, Rosemary made us feel welcome and relaxed. Her attention to detail is unmatched; she took the time to really understand what we wanted and offered great suggestions. The designs she created were stunning and perfectly suited to each of our personalities. The atmosphere in her salon is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a little pampering. My daughters left with big smiles and beautiful nails, and I couldnt stop admiring my own! abby clark Julie has done mine, my mom’s, and my grandma’s nails for over 5 years and has been nothing less than excellent. She is consistent and can do intricate designs on my nails, while also doing very professional ones on my mother. Her nails lasts for such a long time, and even while playing lacrosse and volleyball, they stay on until my next appointment without damage. If you can get an appointment with her you’re lucky because of how amazing of a person she is and how incredible her work is.

Carly Brier Julie does an amazing job on my nails! She is extremely talented and hand paints all of her nails. We decide on a theme or color scheme and she puts together amazing artwork every time! Not only is she an amazing artist, but she is incredibly sweet and has an easy going personality. I can’t recommend her enough!!

Maegan Oien I love Julie so much!! I’ve been her customer for almost 4 years now, and she never fails to impress me. She keeps everything very clean and she cares about the details. There’s never been a nail design she couldn’t do. Truly the best nail tech I highly recommend her to everyone. I’m so happy my friend recommended her to me because I’m very picky but Julie strives for perfection. 1,000,000/10 recommend.

Alexandra Laboskey I had always wanted to walk into this nail salon as I frequent the plaza neighbors. My experience from start to finish was so pleasant and relaxing. I started with a pedicure and really enjoyed the massage chairs. For my hands, my set came out natural and I did not have any dryness or irritation after like I usually do. Sam and Mimi have earned a loyal customer for years to come!

Jessica Pauley I chose this place because of the reviews. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT as this nail salon is hopping and has a loyal clientele. If you try to walk in you’ll be stopped by a sign on the door that requests you call. When you dial they may say come on in - which is what happened to me. It’s very clean. The nail techs grab the tools right out of the autoclave and open them in front of you. I was also very pleased by the efficiency. I was In and out in maybe 30 minutes (gel manicure, no old gel removal). My hands looked just awful after a big move and so I had them cut short and a neutral color applied. Most of the other clients were obviously regulars. Several walked in while I was there and were enthusiastically greeted by name. I get the feeling they receive quite a bit of referral business as many of the conversations were “How is So-and-So? I haven’t seen her in a while.” An excellent first impression and this salon will be my go-to whenever I’m in town visiting family.

Robin I felt lucky to grab an appointment with Sam! He did a wonderful job and was so friendly...not just with me, but with everyone that walked in the store. Ive tried 4 different nail salons and I have no complaints about this one. •my nails look beautiful (they were dipped) •the staff was friendly and fun •the prices were average •my time was less than an hour I will go back!!!

Linzi Gano I have had both Henry and Laura do my nails. They both are great and take such good care of my nails. The shop itself is always clean, the stylists clean up after themselves, they use a vacuum system to keep down the dust, and the bathroom is always clean. Karrie Leigh If you want one of the best pedicures ask for Gina. She almost put me to sleep, probably the best pedicure I’ve ever had there. She was meticulous about the nail trimming and did not cause much pain. Will definitely be asking for her by name when I come back!

Joyce Lopez I’ve been coming to Lee for the past three years, and she is absolutely exceptional! No matter the design I request, she always nails it (pun intended!). Her attention to detail and creativity never disappoint. Andrina Brumbaugh Tony did my nails today, did a great job! This is my second time coming to this location and everyone is so nice and didn’t make me feel like I was asking too much for the design I wanted. I usually don’t get this much design usually just dip nails and a design but this time I have events happening so I wanted more detail. Definitely will be back! :)

Morgan Ive never been so disappointed in someone I went to leave a review but here I am. The pedicure was fine, nothing wrong there, but the customer respect is what Im here for. On Saturday at 445pm (they close at 6p) I come in for a pedicure, asked if it was okay first because we were about an hour from closing. Everything was fine. I left at 530ish, get home and realize I left my water bottle there. Its not a little bottle. A hydro flask 64oz $85 dollar bottle including straw. This has been with me from continent to continent. I was SICK. When I realized, they were closed so Id have to wait til Monday because theyre not open on Sunday. I left at 530pm Saturday and called at 10am Monday, first day theyre open, and they say it is missing, no one has seen it. Maybe the cleaners came Sunday but they dont have it. The store closed 30 minutes after I left and no one was there until Monday and within an hour of opening I call and its gone. They took my number, called later and told me it was gone. "I saw it when you left I remembered it but idk, its gone now" and I sent my mom over to get my REFUND as she said she would credit me for the bottle but they gave me a gift certificate to their store. Not only do I not have my bottle which is 1 foot tall and 6 inches wide and weighs 6 pounds its not like it just rolled away... But they think I can buy a new 85 dollar bottle with a nail salon gift card? I take responsibility, I shouldnt have made the mistake of leaving it there but I did, we all make mistakes. Weve all lost something and prayed someone would find it and do the right thing. I lost that sentimental item and I was told by two separate people that the saw it after I left Saturday, they closed and werent open in the interim and upon return its missing so heres a free nail painting for your troubles. Whether they took it or their cleaning service took it, its way too big and heavy to just disappear and since yall like to play games with people I will at least let everyone know that theyre very friendly but heartless and lazy. No camera check, no actual money returned. 30 second camera review could have shown were the bottle went.. 30 second call to the cleaning service. Instead you sat on your hands and showed youre a Company that doesnt care about their loyal customers. Not 1 but 3 people spoke to me and no one cares. Pathetic effort. Very disappointed.

tracy sherrin Worst acrylic and gel polish fill Ive ever had. Color is completely streaked and clear gel top coat if missing on nearly half of the nail of almost every nail. My nail underneath is pulling away from acrylic. Acrylic and gel is ragged looking. Will not be returning

jennifer nav This is my second visit & this time I had them remove my old gel nail for a full set & has a deluxe lavender hot stone pedicure with 10 min massage. I love the sparkly polish and the topcoat really makes it shine. I saw Andy today and he was meticulous on my nails- I told him to make them thin and natural, not bubbly & he did great. My nails are short enough to use my fingers for every day tasks and work and still look feminine and pretty. My toes are almost a neon glitter- would be great for summer but still just so well done. I’m glad to have found a place the pricing seems consistent and I’m not being duped. Money well spent-ps: my review from last visit seems replaced by this one so I’ll add the photos atleast- Gina did good work

Robin Harman Very nice staff, however when painting my nails they left gaps between the polish and my nail bed. I looked like I had my nails done a week prior when they were finished. Will not ever go back. I pay 100 plus, my nail needs to be completely painted. Such a shame, the color is gorgeous, but again they look like I had them done a week at least!

K K If you have issues with ingrown nails, run dont walk. I, like many others, had a lifetime of ingrown nails. Had spent countless hours and dollars at podiatry offices and never had relief. I have been 5 years pain free thanks to Helene. What she does is not magic. Theres actually mechanical science behind it.

Fish Flgirl Helene is amazing, the place is clean and professional. I suffered with in grown toe nails for years and she fixed them in two months. No more pain! Highly recommend her services.
