Cheri Jennings I have been going to Shery owner of the Fringe since I moved to Largo 4 years ago. Shery is an excellent hairdresser. She’s extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. Her shop is a posh and at the same time comfortable.

J.R. Kennedy We have lived in the Pinellas Park/Largo area for 40+ years, and have had to change hair cutters several times. It is difficult to find a person who has the God given ability to beautifully cut both men and women’s hair. However, we have found Sheri at the Fringe. She cuts hair so well that you can just run your fingers through your hair when you wake up and it will look almost as good as when it was first cut - comb or brush it if you are going out. I think Sheri has no idea how good she really is, or she would probably charge more.

Bonnie Torres First off, I cold called ON New Year’s Eve! Shery had a cancellation and asked if I could pop over. I asked Shery if she could do what many now call a butterfly cut with long layers. We discussed my very damaged thin splitting neglected hair and self-butchered bangs (my term, not hers)! She shampooed my locks and went to work. She nailed the exact look I was after. This is one of the first times I did not cry from disappointment after a cut! I am absolutely in love with the cut and Shery! She is fantastic! 10/10!! I would definitely recommend visiting The Fringe!

Divinity Of The Sun Everything about the experience is magical. Products amazing and the staff is on point! I love going there so much to have my hair colored and this time I tried something new and fresh and funky and it is beyond my expectations. I love this place so much. I am now putting it into my wellness plan for a shampoo and blow dry because its more than just shampoo and a blow dry. He never disappoints! I should also note that I am new to the area - moved here 7 months ago. Finding a new stylist is not an easy task. Today is my third appointment with Bryce. I have come to trust and appreciate him so much! He’s the best kept secret at Aveda Largo!

Tammy McDaniel I was searching for a new stylist and decided to try Down Set Cut based on the great reviews—and I’m so glad I did! I’ve now had my hair cut and colored by Chris four or five times, and she always does a fantastic job with my baby-fine, short hair. Not only is her work top-notch, but her prices are more affordable than other local salons without sacrificing quality. Scheduling is super easy, and every visit is a pleasure—Chris is down-to-earth, good-natured, and always great to chat with. I highly recommend Down Set Cut! If you’ve been frustrated with rising salon prices but still want an amazing stylist, give them a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Rhonda Whitlock My first time here, did a foil & a cut. I have my new hairstylist now. She listens & did amazing, exactly what I wanted with my kind of difficult hair. Funky short haircuts she’s great with. Can’t say enough good things. I definitely recommend.

She took her time with me, we had a mini consultation so she had an idea of what I was looking for and we shared picture ideas. She toned down the brass and highlighted selected sections and face framed gorgeously! Well done!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dainiuris Oler I was interested in becoming a customer and called to make an appointment. The phone rang 5-6 times with no voicemail, so I assumed they were busy and hung up. Shortly after, I received a vague text saying, “call u later,” but I never heard back. Disappointing experience before it began. Suggestion: If you’re going to text customers after missing a call, at least acknowledge them with a message like, “Thank you for contacting us. We’re currently busy, but feel free to call back,” or something along those lines. It would make a much better impression.

Shae Goldsmith Valerie was amazing! She gave me exactly what I asked for and made sure to tell me what would work with my hair type and what wouldn’t. This is the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. I couldn’t recommend her more!

carla swanson I have to say I went this week and had Rhonda put highlights in my hair and give me a cut. Everything is perfectly clean and there’s no reason not to go during this COVID-19. She calls you from your car and only one person is in there at a time and she cleans down everything perfectly and wears a mask of course....Besides all that she does an amazing job with my hair I love it!!!!!

Tried many places since we moved into this area, and theres plenty of places all with a severe lack of consistency one month is great next month horrible. My hairdresser Nancy Trowell is very down to the earth person, and have a great personality. I absolutely love the way she works on my hair. She does fantastic job, It feels so silky and smooth. I am recommending her absolutely 100% to you. Call for appointment for her and she will take you as soon as she can.

Dara Sherman I love Nancy and Susan at Studio 1! I drive from Bartow to have Nancy do my hair; theres no one else Ill trust! She always makes me feel like a model when I leave; if only I could tuck her into my back pocket & take her home with me. Summer Williams I had the pleasure of visiting Shae at Sand Bar Beauty today for a partial foil/haircut, and I couldnt be more thrilled with the results!! Shae truly worked her magic and gave me a phenomenal color that perfectly complemented my style and complexion. The lived in blonde color job she created was exactly what I was looking for - natural-looking, sun-kissed highlights that added depth and dimension to my hair. shae sted Charlie is the absolute BEST hair artist I’ve ever been to. Her ability to color correct, highlight, balayage, mix colors, and apply product is incredible. At every appointment she cares about what I want and the result is amazing every single time. We always have such great conversations too! She’s become such a great friend through the years I’ve been one of her clients, and I recommend her to everyone I know!

Shelley Greenspan Kelly has been doing my hair for 20 years!!! She also did my daughters hair while she still lived at home.It is wonderful salon that uses great products and wont do something crazy that will ruin your hair. Great group of people, small salon with personalized service. I cant say enough positive about them.

Brittany Zajac The salon is always Very Clean, everyone is upbeat and inviting. Val one of the owners does my hair and nails. For nails she uses top quality brands and tools that make them last longer than normal and my hair always looks and feels great when I leave. Nobody does Red like them! I highly recommend anyone who is searching for a place to call home.

Sarah Mayer The NICEST group of ladies & business owners you will ever meet! Always smiling & uplifting. You can’t go wrong here + it’s located in the cutest plaza next to salty roots boutique ( so cute!! ) and Havana Harry’s ( best coffee & lunch spot! )

Aygul Mann I went to Erica for a haircut today for the first time, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. I showed her a photo of how I wanted my hair cut, with a longer length and a soft fade. However, Erica cut my hair way too short, almost down to the skin, which is nothing like what I asked for. In the second photo, you can see just how short she cut it—it’s not at all what I wanted. The whole process took almost an hour, even though the cut she did could have been done with clippers in 5-10 minutes. During that time, Erica was constantly talking to other clients and stylists, barely paying attention to me. She hardly asked about my preferences or checked with me before cutting, and just went ahead and shaved it all off without showing me the progress. I only saw the final result at the end, and I was nearly in tears seeing how much hair was gone. I am very upset that I paid so much for a haircut that left me feeling devastated. Now I’ll have to spend months growing it out just to feel like myself again. This experience completely ruined my mood, and I’m extremely disappointed. Totally unprofessional.

Ross Mccullough I followed Michelle S. from across the street to this new location. Easy to get to inside of the shopping center. The girls there are SO nice. A place for nails, pedis, hair, etc. Smaller shop, super friendly. Gents grab a haircut, ladies I think they have everything else available to you.

Jen Went here after being recommended by a family friend. Absolutely not returning. I went in with photo references and wanted an all over rooted coloring. I talked with my stylist and we agreed on a balayage coloring with “blended roots”. The woman was over booked switching between myself and other clients who came in, so I was left waiting a lot. I am not the type to complain about anything to anyone. I understand she was busy and she was doing, I assume, her best to give me my desired result, but unfortunately she was just unqualified. I came home with the chunky/streaky highlights as if it were 1990. Cried for about an hour and have made an appoint elsewhere to get it corrected.

Abigail Thomas This was my first time getting eyelash extensions. I usually go to the nail salons cheaper price but eventually tares out your real eyelashes. I started googling about eyelash extensions, why so pricey, top rated near me and I found Lyndsey’s. The pictures of eyelash extensions looked so pretty and worth it. So I set an appointment with Lyndsey’s. As the reviews say Lyndsey was nice, clean atmosphere. I went and explained what I was looking for. We had a good chat as I laid down on the table. She put the under eye patches and verbalized she saw where I was missing hair and she would do her best to fix it. Hour and a half later we were done. I looked at my results told her how some of the lashes look like there about to fall off. She said because there was no lash there she had nothing to work with, at least they would last me the weekend. I smiled paid $22 tip all together my eyelashes was $222. I taught my son to always be kind no matter why I tipped her but as I was walking to my car my lashes were dangling off that I could see them. There were gaps between the lashes, even the extensions on my real lashes were falling off. I tried brushing them didn’t make a difference. I had a good cry in my car as I was supposed to be going on vacation and was looking forward to the lashes. I called Lyndsey she gave me $50 off. If she could’ve said hey I can’t do it. You don’t have lashes to spend that kind of money women to women. Just do your research before spending that kind of money. Update as soon as I posted my review I got a message from Lyndsey quote “if you could take down that horrible review, that people like me ruin small businesses.” I explained to her I would remove my review if she refunded me for the job she didn’t do. She verbalized I was threatening her. That’s when I understood this business has all good reviews because the owner puts clients on guilt trips. Thank you for taking time to read. They have cultivated such a warm and inviting atmosphere here, you truly feel welcomed. Anthony Scafidi Update: Still $15 for a haircut. I walked in and was taken right away. My stylist Wendy was very friendly and did a great job. This was my first visit to the "clip and cut salon". They take walk-ins and I was seated immediately. My stylist Lee understood exactly what I wanted and gave me a great haircut for $15. I recommend this salon and will be a regular customer.

Eva Toledo My friend recommended that I try Midori a little bit over a year ago; as someone with very thick, wavy hair (I find that a lot of salons just don’t know how to handle it well) I was so nervous to try somewhere new…but wow! I am impressed. The two stylists that I’ve seen thus far (Natalie and Dooyun) are clearly very talented and did such an incredible job with layering my hair. The environment and general vibe is absolutely lovely as well. 10/10. Midori is a gem, and I can’t wait for my next appointment.

The products are organic unlike most salons and stand for a healthy progressive cause. Their stylists are professional and all extremely talented (I’ve had my hair done by 3 different stylists there). Ive been getting my hair done by Star the past 2 years she’s a true artist. She keeps my curls healthy and strong even going blonde! She goes above & beyond for me as a client making sure I’m always more than satisfied and taken care of. With a family/sisterly vibe the minute you walk in. I feel more than happy spending my money somewhere that cares about not only the overall look of my hair but also the health from inside out of my hair.

She is very skilled and was concerned about not damaging my hair which I appreciated. She gave me the best haircut and color and her prices are amazing! Very personable as well. In other salons I have paid close to 300 dollars and she did a much better job for a quarter of the price!

I could tell by the posted photos that Michelle knew what she was doing so I called for my appointment. I was not disappointed! I have allergies that have made using products a challenge but Toni researched and was able to use products that cater to my specific needs.
