Kali Fontanilla always have a great experience at this dental office. Hannah, the hygienist, is so sweet and gentle. Dr. Hoange recently did three fillings for me, and although I usually get anxious about dental work, she made me feel comfortable and got it done quickly. Her assistant, Victoria, did a nice job as well. Both my husband and I come here, and it’s one of the reasons we won’t move from this area, we know how rare it is to find a dental office this good.

Cemetery Sweetheart I came in for tooth reshaping for my 2 front teeth and tooth whitening, I got absolutely everything I wanted! I truly couldnt be happier with my result, Dr.Cole and Rachel took time to really listen to what I wanted and made sure that I got it. Amazing experience and everyone I met in the office was absolutely lovely. I cant say enough positive things about this practice and I wish Id come in sooner.

Steve Talcott I had been following a scheduled program to have an implant installed. Aspen had provided scheduled appointments to facilitate this program. When I arrived yesterday for my scheduled 9AM appointment I checked in as normal. The receptionist was busy talking with coworkers about the weekend. Did not appear to be engaged with her responsibilities. At 10AM I approached the front desk asking about my 9AM appointment. The same front desk person asked my name and then said she could not find my appointment. However, my name had been highlighted on the sign in sheet, indicating I had been checked in. She asked me to sit down and they would get back to me. Finally at 10:30 I was told they would get me in. Noting the flurry of activity at the appointment desk it appeared they were rescheduling other patients. I was told they only had two dentists on duty. When I finally was shown to the procedure room I was told they needed another x-ray to make sure there was enough bone graft to install the implant without hitting a nerve. Hitting a nerve could cause paralysis. It is now 11AM and they wanted to proceed. At that point my confidence in the likely success of this procedure was extremely low. I went to the front desk, offered to pay for the x-ray and asked to my x-rays sent to me. I am contacting a Dentist who specializes in implants.

Morgan Schuetz everyone was really nice but there were a couple red flags. there were about 3 different phone calls I could hear the receptionist answer that were patient complaints, a patient complained when they came in saying they had an outstanding balance the office never warned her about and then simone sitting at the check out counter complaining about charges on an itemized bill that didn’t make sense. all had nothing to do with my experience but the fact that they were dealing with complaints all day made me wonder about the office. I went in for a quote on a root canal and was quoted 4200 then when i said i couldn’t do that the lady asked me what i wanted to pay which made me think the chargers they wanted to bill me with weren’t necessary. my only complaint is the price i found another dentist to do the same procedure for 1700 instead of 4100 so will not be using aspen dental

Rebekah Prieto We have struggled to find a dentist we trust since moving to Florida. We started with this office a few months ago and have been pleasantly surprised. Everyone on the team has been wonderful to work with and we feel very confident with Dr. Schweitzer. He is thorough and takes his time to explain things well. When services are recommend, I understand why and I dont ever feel like something is being ‘sold’ to us that we don’t really need, which was a common problem with other providers. Grateful to have found a practice we feel like we can trust with our dental care.

The original family sold their business, and a common thing around Sarasota is to either endorse an expensive procedure to make money before the original owner leaves OR to do the same but to train the new dentists. This practice exemplifies this behavior. Several other practices have mentioned this about Hillview specifically. Watch out and look elsewhere. Good luck!

Jan Ruggiero Excellent dental location. No hassles. Staff is helpful with scheduling and they send reminder texts. My current hygienist does a great job. My kids see other hygienist in the office and they too have no complaints!! Office is super clean! We have not had any major dental work yet needed so I cant say anything to that degree but I do see people coming and going with smiles on their faces!

Odhet Ortega My son and I have been going to waterside dental for about 6 plus years. The place is always clean, all the dental hygienist are amazing and kind as so have been the dentist. Yet for a year now have had issues with scheduling appointments through the call center; they have booked my appointments wrong, appointments have been canceled and given the next available visit in 3 months. This has discouraged me to continue service here. I hope there’s a better system implemented for scheduling appointments because I want my son and I to continue services at waterside.

Highly recommend Stephanie for teeth cleaning because of her gentle and steady hands while cleaning. I had no worry at all during my teeth cleaning. Keep up the good work!

Melissa Anderson Awful place. They lied and said I have gum disease but I DID NOT. Put me through intensive periodontist appointments and the hygienist is super heavy handed and rough. I always left with a migraine. The stress there is unbearable. I went to get Invisalign at an orthodontist who told me I absolutely don’t have gum disease and whoever told me that (Greenberg) is incorrect, and he told me to get a second opinion. I did, and my gums are completely healthy! There are literally no signs of gum disease at all. This place is terrible and I feel like they just try to milk you for money. Not to mention they charged me for some stupid gel after my appointment and didn’t even ask me if I wanted it nor did they quote me a price. I’ll never go back and do not recommend this place to anyone.

He showed me where the bone graft is placed and that the tissue surrounding the extraction is healing properly. He was extremely helpful in calming my anxiety about this healing process. The hygienist was VERY good at calming my anxiety and reassured me that everything regarding this extraction is going to plan and what Im feeling is totally normal. I was not a patient here and they squeezed me in as my dentist is out of town. Thank you Krause Dental!! Im a big fan!!

Linda Mergel Very professional! Before my visit, my insurance checked as to what would be paid. The dental assistant explained this and offered additional services such a new test for cancer in the mouth. On a printout, the services that were covered by my insurance, ie, cleaning and floride treatment, and then the additional services that were not covered by my insurance were listed. All was upfront and had to be signed by me before starting. I appreciated being able to see options in writing and to discuss them beforehand.

There are a lot of choices out there and this was a good pick. The office was comfortable and roomy. The equipment was modern. My new hygienist was very gentle, competent, and she listened. Her name is Judabell. Everyone there seemed friendly. Most important, I’m going back so Dr. Silliman can do a filling.

I just had a filling come out and needed a dentist. My wife and kids use Dentistry on Fruitville so I figured they couldn’t be so bad. I was able to schedule an appointment online with no hassle. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by some of the most friendly staff I have ever met. They made me feel like I have been going there for years. They even put me on the schedule the following day to have my filling replaced. I am super happy with my experience as everyone there seems to actually care about their patients.

BW I was extremely nervous about choosing a new dentist after mine retired. I knew my former dentist for 25 years & felt comfortable since she understood my needs so well. I’ve had injections before each cleaning for 2 + decades because of exposed nerves. Dr. Rizner & my dental hygienist, Caitlin, put me completely at ease. I was given injections near the most sensitive areas & the cleaning went smoothly. Melanie, the office manager, is so polite & welcoming. She went the extra mile to explain my dental insurance coverage & suggest alternatives. The whole experience from booking the appointment to having the exam & cleaning was effortless. I live in Punta Gorda, so it’s a drive to reach Dentistry on Fruitville, but well worth it. If you need a dentist, visit Dr. Rizner’s practice first. You’ll be glad you did.
