C Im new to the area, and its always stressful finding a new salon. After hours of browsing through websites and photos and reading reviews, I came across Shear Vanity. I know its not important to some people, but one of the main things I look for is ease of booking an appointment. It was super easy booking online, and I got really lucky finding an appointment the next day. It was my first time at Seminole Towne Center, and Tiffany was so nice to send me a text to let me know how to get to her. If she didnt text me, I think I wouldve waited in the parking lot till the mall opened, lol. Immediately upon meeting Tiffany, we hit it off right away. Her energy and upbeat personality set the vibes for a super positive experience. She loves what she does and it definitely shows- she did an amazing job with my hair. Im happy to have found her and cant wait to come back!

Ciara McGee Tiffany is the only one I trust with my hair. She was very nice and welcoming. I have very very dark hair that is very stubborn to lighten and she was able to get my hair light enough to do crazy colors for me.

Yang Liu Ive been with Sayomi since her days at Hair Cuttery, and she has been exceptional from the start! Im thrilled she’s opened her own business. Even after moving from Sanford to Oviedo in 2017, we continue to drive back to see her. Sayomi always takes the time to listen to our needs and delivers exactly what we’re looking for. Both my husband and I go to Sayomi, and as our family grew, we began bringing our kids as well. While the price for kids cuts might seem higher compared to specialized kids salons, Sayomi treats children with the same care and attention as her adult clients. She takes her time, chats with the kids, asks what they want, and follows the full process—washing, cutting, blow-drying, and styling. My kids, even at 4 and 6, love the experience and prefer it over the typical kids’ salons. They really enjoy being treated seriously. One of the things I appreciate most is that Sayomi never tries to sell me any hair products or push unnecessary treatments. She’s a true hairstylist who genuinely cares about giving you a great haircut. Sayomi does an incredible job with my daughter’s thin hair, cutting it layer by layer so it grows beautifully. We only need to trim her bangs at home occasionally, and the rest always looks perfectly maintained. I highly recommend Sayomi for the whole family!

Mrs. FL I was a walk-in on a Sunday afternoon. Sayomi is a lovely lady and excellent stylist. I wanted a basic layered cut. She was so professional and did a great job of giving me extra tips on how to give my hair have more movement and bounce. I’m glad I took her advice. Plus I appreciated that she didn’t rush the appointment and took care to make sure the cut was just right. My hair looks and feels amazing! Im always really apprehensive to try a new salon but she was very helpful when I first visited her. Ive been getting my hair done by her for over 4 years now. Amanda is very thoughtful when figuring out what to do differently with my highlights at different times of the year. I also love that shes good with fine hair, she makes a point to cut and color my hair to make it look the best. If youre looking for anything wedding wise, she kills it with makeup and up dos! Crystal Santos Got my hair done here a few months ago. The owners daughter was her assistant, which didn’t bother me until SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS 15 AND UNLICENSED :/ She didn’t look 15 but by that time she was already applying color into my hair! My scalp was raw from her aggressive scratching while washing the color out and I actually even ended up getting my hair done somewhere else a few days later because I hated the color that I left with, but didn’t want her to re do it! I felt bad because she was a nice girl but all around an incredibly disappointing experience.. I sought out this salon in the first place because of all the good reviews, come to find out they actually give gifts for writing good reviews.. :/ I would definitely recommend spending your money at a higher end salon!

Dave Gaudio I came from Tampa to get my haircut at Kenneth Ray, and it was worth the trip. Im writing this review in the middle of the 2020 covid situation, and its the only haircut Ive had this year thats not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Christopher gave me one of my best haircuts ever, while making sure to keep everyone safe, healthy, and happy. Most importantly to me is Ken and Chris are my moms stylists. Google reviews are not in her repertoire, but she absolutely loves getting her hair done here and they keep her looking her best. I cannot recommend Kenneth Ray enough and will be returning whenever the opportunity presents itself.

I always come out of there with my highlights looking superb. My husband has gotten his hair cut from Ken for a long time and his hair always looks fantastic. In addition, Ken is changing my hairstyle and I am loving it. Growing my hair out to a new style from it being short takes a lot of patience. Each time he cuts it, it really looks great. It has a good four to six months to get the growth to where I really want it, but I can style it all along the way and it always looks good. Ive been coming since they opened and I made this place my preferred one to do haircut, dye my hair and/or apply special protein and stem cells treatment. The customer service is very excellent, everyone there is so attentive to details and courteous always making sure youve been taken care, they even offer you coffee and snacks. Prices are also great for the quality and Ive been service by the owner and 2 of the hair dressers but the best one I always look for is the one in the 2nd station. I recommend this place 110%.. Klarita Harris DaVail and I originally agreed to start at 8 am for my wedding day hair which I previously picked and asked her if she could do. She reassured me that she could. I explained to her that my hair is fine and could not have mousse or gel. She still insisted that she could definitely do the hair style because she does similar hair styles often. The night before I texted her my room number. She informed me at that time she would arrive at 10 am. I reminded her that my MUA is scheduled to arrive at 1230. She never responded. I started calling/texting at 1016 am, with no answer or response. She called me at 1103 am to inform me she left her phone at the salon and was now on her way and will arrive in an hour. She arrived at 1217. She did not even try to give me the style I wanted because she obviously knew she didnt have time to complete the style before the photographer was due to arrive at 130 pm. I gave 2 stars because she did make my hair look nice. However, she arrived hours late and gave me a simple DAY hair style on the biggest day of my life. Do not use her if you need a specific hair style or on a day in which TIME is important. You will truly regret it. Shes a nice lady, but I paid for something particular and she didnt get close. She offered nothing for her 2 hour tardiness.

She relaxed one of my girls’ very thick hair, applied amino treatment on another daughter and trimmed, colored and defined my curls. All well done, with everybody leaving with smiles. The ladies who were alongside her are lovely, well-mannered and very talented too! Atmosphere is peaceful and pleasant with a view that is very calming. This hair studio has their act together!

Lisette Cruz This was my second time going to X’Spreshun. The first was for my daughter who wanted purplish hair. She has very dark hair but Rain made her vision come to life. Weeks later and it still looks amazing! Today it was my turn and I am absolutely thrilled with the fabulous job Rain did in adding beautiful blue tones to my dark hair! Rich Harbove She does great work, dont get me wrong on that. Today she showed up late to my appointment and wasnt even prepared. Then tried to blame me for requesting a refund of my deposit. Id steer clear from her as she has no concept of keeping appointments or accepting fault when she screws up

Lori Sager Aneisha is amazing! She listens to what I want and does great color and cuts. She’s also great with texture and gives a perfect blowout. Her pricing is fair but the service is comparable to upscale salons. She gives the best shampoos and head massages too. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.
