5 /5 Marisa Craig: I originally found Amanda through a friend and she was able to help me with some damage I had from heat. Im always really apprehensive to try a new salon but she was very helpful when I first visited her. Ive been getting my hair done by her for over 4 years now. Amanda is very thoughtful when figuring out what to do differently with my highlights at different times of the year. I also love that shes good with fine hair, she makes a point to cut and color my hair to make it look the best. If youre looking for anything wedding wise, she kills it with makeup and up dos! I havent personally done anything with her but I love seeing all her work. I highly recommend Amanda for all your beauty needs!!

Everyone (my bridesmaids, my grandma, my mother in law, as well as my mom) loved their final looks and I, especially, loved mine. A S: Rebecca Waldron! She is amazing! I have to say going here is quite overwhelming since they dont have a receptionist. But everyone I encountered is so kind. Rebecca was the right hairstylist for me! And I will refer to her as my/mine from now on! I will be a loyal customer. She is knowledgeable. Helped guide me. Listened to me. But her expertise is where it is at! I went to othet salons teying to get what i wanted and they for some reason couldnt see the vision. Perhaps b/c I habe curly hair? Im so glad I stopped in the Salon Lofts And the end result - everyone in my life says my hair looks amazing! Thank you so much Rebecca!!!

Anniece Rucker: Called to ask about the price of a frontal and to see if they had the loc gel I wanted. The person who answered cut me off before I could give him the length and texture I wanted. He said “we can’t go through all of the lengths and prices over the phone.” I said I only wanted the price for 1. He hung up in my face and wouldn’t answer when I called back. Didn’t even get to discuss the loc gel. Will not be spending my money with them ever. Rude, unprofessional and unnecessarily disrespectful.

Jaide Gan: 2024: Ive been going here for a few years but recently have been going to Mallory, specifically, for my cuts. She makes sure she understands what I want and that Im pleased with the outcome, which I am! Also nice that she remembers what Ive gotten in the past so she knows what I like already. Got my color done with her for the first time and wow! I love it! I have thick fine black hair with some leftover dye from over a year ago on the ends, which is a feat, but she tackled it and got me to a beautiful red! Have already gotten so many compliments on it! 2022: Waited 30 min past my appointment but didnt bother me... Gave me time to look up exactly what I wanted. Coty did let me know as soon as I walked in that she needed some extra time- again, no big deal to me. This was my first time getting a cut with Coty and she was wonderful! I wanted a lob with a slight angle and she gave me exactly that. She listened to what I wanted and even let me know some concerns that can come up with it, which I appreciated. I just had a shampoo (included) & cut and it took less than hour. Cant beat the service and quality for the price!

Dave Gaudio: I came from Tampa to get my haircut at Kenneth Ray, and it was worth the trip. Im writing this review in the middle of the 2020 covid situation, and its the only haircut Ive had this year thats not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Christopher gave me one of my best haircuts ever, while making sure to keep everyone safe, healthy, and happy. Most importantly to me is Ken and Chris are my moms stylists. Google reviews are not in her repertoire, but she absolutely loves getting her hair done here and they keep her looking her best. I cannot recommend Kenneth Ray enough and will be returning whenever the opportunity presents itself.

I finally found the perfect salon. Melas did an incredible job! They washed and roller set my hair, and the haircut with long layers turned out beautifully after the blow dry. I felt absolutely fabulous walking out of there. I will definitely be making this salon my new home.

Klarita Harris: DaVail and I originally agreed to start at 8 am for my wedding day hair which I previously picked and asked her if she could do. She reassured me that she could. I explained to her that my hair is fine and could not have mousse or gel. She still insisted that she could definitely do the hair style because she does similar hair styles often. The night before I texted her my room number. She informed me at that time she would arrive at 10 am. I reminded her that my MUA is scheduled to arrive at 1230. She never responded. I started calling/texting at 1016 am, with no answer or response. She called me at 1103 am to inform me she left her phone at the salon and was now on her way and will arrive in an hour. She arrived at 1217. She did not even try to give me the style I wanted because she obviously knew she didnt have time to complete the style before the photographer was due to arrive at 130 pm. I gave 2 stars because she did make my hair look nice. However, she arrived hours late and gave me a simple DAY hair style on the biggest day of my life. Do not use her if you need a specific hair style or on a day in which TIME is important. You will truly regret it. Shes a nice lady, but I paid for something particular and she didnt get close. She offered nothing for her 2 hour tardiness.

Leigha Lang: Stephanie does a really good job so I want to like this place, but I have had terrible experiences 2 out the 3 times I have ATTEMPTED to get my hair done here. I drove a long way out here to have my hair done by her and no one showed up, no one answered the phone, and I couldn’t leave a voice mail. There are multiple addresses found for this business and I drove to all of them thinking maybe I had the wrong address. There are other braiders just as good and it’s not worth the frustration coming to Brownstones.
