5 /5 William Johnstone: I called customer service and was prepared for the typical series of phone mail jail options. Jacob Fifer answered in short order and listened to my reason for calling, gave me the email address to send a wind mitigation report, waited on the line to make sure he received it, asked me to wait while it was uploaded and then scheduled a follow up call for next week!!!! Unbelieveable. My faith in humanity is restored.

1 /5 Arthur de Wolf: We got our home owners insurance through Alliance & Associates with Avatar Insurance. At the beginning of April 2022 we received a letter from the Florida Department of Financial Services that Avatar was liquidated and our insurance would end on April 13. We had received no word from Alliance or Avatar about this. We had to scramble and managed to get a home inspection and new insurance just in time before the deadline. Alliance called me on April 21 (!!!) to tell me that Avatar had been liquidated. EIGHT DAYS after the deadline! She apologized and said that they found out the same way I did a few weeks ago and had been too busy to contact all customers in time. Good thing I had seen the letter from the Florida DFS or we would have lost our insurance and possibly gotten in trouble with our mortgage. Alliance Insurance was totally useless. They should have sent out a mass email to all their Avatar customers as soon as they found out.

She has always been very professional and willing to answer any questions we may have had. Any time there has been an issue she has immediately gotten it cleared up for us! I highly recommend calling them for any insurance needs you may have. Thanks again Alliance!!
