1 /5 Michele Soto: On May 18th, I visited the office and spoke with Sydney. After taking my information, she advised that by adding my teen son it would raise my rates substantially and that thr companies they wrote for did not offer liability only policies, but she would gather the quotes and provide them to me by Friday, May 20th.
...crickets....
Today, May 31, I receive an email stating that they would be unable to insure me and my family as the quote she gathered were triple what I requested.
1. Do you expect my teen to drive without insurance?
2. Did you expect me to wait 13 days when you set an expectation of 2 days? That clearly shows you are an unreliable agent and possibly unreliable person.
3. I never stated what I wanted to pay for a premium or what I was currently paying so stating your quote would be triple is purely speculation. This seems that your trying to drive business away. If your book of business is full, state that. Honesty is everything!
4. I got a single quote from Progressive one hour prior to walking in to your office. During our meeting, Progressive was the first company you listed as one you wrote for. Progressive was very willing to insure my family and a very reasonable rate for a liability policy that you state Progressive doesnt offer.
With that being said, we stayed with my husbands carrier and added myself to that policy and ended up lowering the premium without making any changes to coverages in place.
My overall observation, this company is unreliable and not trustworthy. There were obvious lies told and most likely no quotes gathered. Folks, do your due diligence when shopping for anything and make sure the company and your agent are trustworthy and reliable.
