5 /5 Sheila Pittman: I am significantly overweight and had a very basic knowledge of effective and safe exercise for my age and weight. I also struggled to find an exercise regiment I could stick with long term. Nine months ago I started at Delta Life Fitness in Pace and my life is changing every day for the better.
The basics: The classes are instructor led and change daily. Classes are available before, after, and during normal work hours. Child care is offered during some of the classes. Each exercise can be modified to match your fitness level and/or accommodate any injuries. The coaches will take time with you one-on-one to help with any questions you have about the workouts or nutrition. Each month brings new focuses and challenges.
Beyond the basics, however, is the atmosphere and vibe at this gym. It is an inclusive place filled with supportive, like minded women who want to meet their health goals and see others succeed. Theres a constant sharing of recipes, workout ideas, challenges, barriers, and successes. Self-care, wellness, and health are encouraged and prioritized. Whether you completed your first class or your 500th, you are celebrated!
