5 /5 Keith Ferguson: The outside doesn’t do the inside justice. Walking in here the staff is amazing. There’s a lot of hidden gem machines that enables you to maximize whatever body part you’re trying to hit. It’s very spacious maneuvering. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

At times, the space can feel a bit tight, and the air can get a little stuffy, but that’s to be expected in a busy gym environment. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Overall, it’s a solid place to stay on track with your fitness goals!

1 /5 Drew Joseph: I have had an absolute nightmare experience with them charging my card after I have cancelled multiple times. At first they said since my girlfriend was the one using it she had to cancel in person (which is dumb because its my card). Then after a year of throwing free money at them she finally cancels in person and im still charged. They are very nice people but this has been like a curse I cannot get rid of no matter how much effort I put into it just know its not easy to cancel.

From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed—never out of place. The atmosphere is supportive, the staff is friendly, and the equipment - there is so much equipment, making every workout a great experience. I also love that the gym has different rooms for working out, so you can focus on what you need without feeling crowded. I’ve been working with Angela for personal training, and she is absolutely amazing! Her workouts and weight training sessions are tough as nails but never boring. She pushes me to do my best while ensuring my form is on point, so I get the most out of every session. The progress I’ve made with her guidance has been incredible! A huge shoutout to Roberto, the owner, who always has a great attitude and is available for any questions about the machines. His passion for the gym and its members really shows, making this a place you actually look forward to going to. If you’re looking for a gym with an great atmosphere, all the equipment you could imagine, knowledgeable staff, classes, and expert personal training, FLEX is the place to be! Highly recommend!

Brian Jones: This gym has real potential — it’s clean, safe, well-equipped, and has a solid community. But potential means nothing without direction, and that’s where the gym continues to fall short. The hours are extremely limited and inconvenient, the sauna has been down with no updates, the lockers barely work, and the outdoor equipment was removed with no explanation. There’s no community engagement, no events, and nothing that sets this gym apart from bigger chains. With CHUZE Fitness closing nearby, this could have been the perfect opportunity to grow — but the gym simply isn’t structured to take on new members. It feels like ownership is waiting for more members before investing, but that’s exactly why new members don’t show up. It’s a backwards business approach. There are simple solutions that would immediately make this gym competitive: Implement app or key-card entry so the facility doesn’t rely on staff being present Extend the hours, or at least eliminate the mid-day 1–4 PM closures. Offer a price that reflects the current amenities Communicate updates clearly so members know what’s happening Have events or activities that advertise & bring exposure. I’m not writing this to tear the gym down — I’m writing it because I want it to succeed. I come here because the environment has so much potential, but potential doesn’t matter if leadership doesn’t act on it. The facility is strong, the community is strong — the execution just isn’t. If the owner chooses to actually invest in the vision of this place, it could truly thrive.

Crunch Fitness - Harbour Village - Jacksonville

Garett Guzman: A nice club and location in Jacksonville. My only slight is the communication. The mens sauna has been down for 4+ weeks and they have no update available at all. Ive asked weekly and each member at the desk says, its down - not sure what is wrong or when it will be fixed. Only, today did someone offer to use the red light sauna (+ membership) which is shared with all during this time; the sauna is small, and regulates temps for cool down times. Not ideal. I would simply appreciate members offering more information/ timeline to a resolution for the mens sauna. In my interactions, its seemed as a nuance to even ask why/when this will be fixed. Would simply appreciate a more genuine response from staff and an expedited update from the club, aside from the "everyone needs a rest" sign posted for several weeks. With an "anyclub" membership Ive visited the other two locations in Jacksonville and many others across the state of FL; Ive yet to experience a staff who is most concerned with internal dialogue while expressing a lack of concern for anything outside of their bubble.
