1 /5 lance harger: My wife was involved in an accident. It was in a parking lot and she was NOT in the car. The accident isnt remotely her fault. The other party has insurance. Every website and article I read that was written by an attorney stated, "ALWAYS file a claim with your own agency REGARDLESS of who is at fault." At every turn it seemed that Allstate did EVERYTHING they could to steer us away from this from "work with the other insurance company" to "hiring a lawyer is an option." They indicated they did NOT want us to file a claim and detered us in every conversation. For "youre in good hands" it seemed that John Cheney would rather us be in anyone elses hands BUT Allstate. Disappointing!!!!
