5 /5 Mark P Vincent: I have been working with this family owned firm for years. They’re very nice people, but I didn’t really think hard about it because I never had a claim. However, I had a lot of damage to my home after hurricane Ian and Ian Keith himself really stepped up to help me with my claim. It took a while, but together we got a great result. And again just a few months ago, a large truck ran into my car on I 75 so I had a second large claim. The insurance company initially suggested a settlement which would’ve cost me a lot of money out of pocket. When I talked to Ian about it, he said that he had originally put me in a much better policy than the insurance company realized and he then went to bat for me. He ended up getting me many thousands of dollars more for my car than what the insurance company would’ve paid me otherwise. He has done right by me several times and I really have come to appreciate the value of his company and his service. Do yourself a favor and engage with him.

AWA Insurance - Fort Myers

Andie Anderson: This is the absolute worst company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. They had 2 attempts at handling our insurance. I have been in business for over 20 years and never had any issue. The first attempt we dealt with lies and pure laziness. I pulled from them and went to another company. No issues with the new company until AWA took over for them. Again we dealt with lies, laziness and complete incompetence. Our liability policy jumped from $800 a year to $4400. After a lot of work the agent signed us up for a policy for $1900. It got canceled 2 weeks into it. Not surprised the only other option was the $4400 policy that I refused to go with. We did find a competent agent with another firm who got us a policy for $1700. It was quick, easy and done in a day. I will never deal with AWA again. Too bad I have to give at least one star.

Christian Devinny: Progressive Insurance did not protect their corporate image when i called in and explained how COPELAND insurance poorly handled rewriting and discounting my policy with errors in spelling and my payment information which resulted in an unexpected cancellation. Copeland insurance refused to admit an errors, or try to correct them and my payment went UP by $40 instead of down. Progressive Insurance Corporate should have made the corrections and at the very least provided me with a rate EQUAL to what i had been paying, not more. Poor customer service and lack of professionalism all around. Now i have to search for another provider.
