I originally felt that joining this YMCA was one of the best decisions I had ever made. The facility is beautiful inside and out, and wellness practitioners like Mr. Cory and Mr. Russell stood out for their patience, compassion, and support. The amenities—including a pool, basketball court, theater, and Silver Sneakers program—make it a great place for all ages and fitness levels.
Unfortunately, my experience with customer service has been very disappointing. If a trainer resigns (Mr. Cory), members are not informed or given a choice of if they want to continue with someone new, and prepaid one-on-one sessions are not refunded. Membership cancellation is difficult, calls from management go unanswered (Mr. Sonny and Mr. Dean), and charges continue even after requesting to end the membership.
While the facility itself is impressive, these poor membership practices overshadow the positives. I truly hope management improves these areas, because members deserve better service and transparency - Sylena Britt
