I went into the store this past weekend while I was visiting a friend in Tallahassee to get a charm (like I do every time I travel) and some cleaning solution. I was told prior when you purchase the cleaning solution they will also clean your bracelet complimentary. The employee did take my bracelet to the back and cleaned it while I waited in the store. She also put on my new charm and provided me with a bag for the items I purchased. When I got back home to Atlanta and removed my shopping bags out of my trunk I noticed my shoebox from Dillards had what I thought was water all over them. Then I pulled out my Pandora bag and realized it was the cleaning solution. The store employee used the cleaner that I purchased to clean my bracelet and did not put the lid back on correctly. I tried to reach out to the Pandora online chat and they told me I had to contact that store since I purchased it in-store. I called the store on 6/14/21 the employee who answered the phone stated she had to speak to her store manager and would call me back. On 6/15/21 at 1:30 pm, the store manager called me back to let me know I would have to drive back to Tallahassee, Fl. (After I told her I lived in Atlanta) to get another kit. I explained to her I did not live there nor would I be back. Trying to come to a middle ground I asked if my friend who lived in Tallahassee could come to pick up the replacement and she stated no it has to be me. I explained to her I could give her first and last name and she could check her id and the manager refused, per her manager (I guess the regional manager). I said so I am trying to resolve the issue that one of your employees caused and you do not want to work with me? She then said if I continue to speak to her like that she will hang up on me (she did) this whole phone conversation was 3 minutes. Her tone during the whole phone call was sarcastic and disrespectful. I do feel like she knew that I was a minority and could talk and speak to me any type of way. I have never experienced this type of behavior from any employee at any store and certainly not a Pandora. She has no respect for customers or any conflict resolution skills. I would never recommend this store to a friend or step foot in this store again. I will be writing letters and emails until I can speak with her manager because this whole exchange was unacceptable. I was not even that upset that the cleaning solution spilled and ruined my shoebox, I simply wanted it replaced and that was all. She blew everything out of proportion with her rude attitude and as I stated prior I will never visit her store again.
