1 /5 Jason Root: Very disappointed, heard great things about this business but was far from satisfied. Called ahead about a jewelry repair, was told it could be done before Christmas and was estimated around $50. Brought the bracelet and charm to the store to have them attached using a jump ring. The lady at the counter was friendly and typed up my receipt with what I wanted done and put the total at the bottom. A few days later I go back to pick up and it does not match what is clearly typed on my receipt. It was soldered directly to the bracelet link instead of being attached using a jump ring so it would dangle and be visible from both sides while being worn. Spoke to the owner directly who told me there was a misunderstanding and to have it done how my receipt says would cost $100 and would be after Christmas. I was never called and told this information, and the only help she offered was for me to pay the difference and come back after Christmas. I don’t understand how I have a receipt stating what I wanted done and the price at the bottom but this business failed to honor it while it was done incorrectly by them. I’d love to leave a different review and have my Christmas gift corrected as it should’ve been originally.

Not only did these amazing people keep their promise, but they also repaired a missing diamond that was not noticed when I dropped the ring off. It was fixed without any hesitation, and they did not charge for that repair! I highly recommend this place for all your jewelry needs, as well as other beautiful and unique treasures ❤️ Ill definitely be back! Thank you!!!

Aaron Berry: Ive been in this place a few times. They have sized some watches for me but I havent bought anything from there. I went in the other day to sell a piece and I had in mind what I was willing to take for it. My wife was actually the one that went in with it first and when she told them it was mine they said I needed to come in with my DL so I could sell it. That was fine with me. I asked my wife how much they offered and even though they were low balling me on it, it was enough for me to purchase another piece of jewelry that I was after. So I went in. She told me the same amount that she told my wife. I asked one of the girls if I could just do a trade for a silver necklace. Thats what I was going to purchase with the money anyway. The owner lady..(Im assuming thats who she is..) came out with the same look on her face that Amanda described in her review. This lady came out from the back and decided to give me this condescending speech about how she just want to do right by me and she wants us to be "friends" but when I asked the girl about a trade this lady said she wanted my piece of gold plus an additional 50.00 for her silver necklace. I thought about it and I said no thanks. I knew that I could get the same necklace at several different places for less that half that. So....when I said no to giving her my gold (which was worth a whole lot more) plus 50 foe her necklace I guess she got offended and then offered me less for the gold then what she originally told me....lol. Ive always tried to support local businesses but its times like this that make me realize you cant do that....and that its better to just drive to someone else that will treat you better. So...crystal river, gainesville, lake city anywhere other than this place will get my business from here on out! Update: this is how a owner professionally responds to a review! Salvage yard Aaron Berry 4 days ago Went in to buy a rear axle for my truck. Paid to have them take it off. They said they had a few things to do in front of mine but that they would get to it. I asked when he thought that would be and he said it might not be today but we will call you. I said ok what about tomorrow? I really need to get that axle? He said we will call you. I went back the next morning to find out the status and I was willing to wait for it and it was then that I found out that the guys that pull the parts dont work on the weekend. That had plenty of chances to tell me that the day before and no one bothered to let me know. When I asked this time when I could expect to have it instead of them just telling me that it would be the next week the guy just said come around to this window and you can have your money back and he was extremely rude about it. Then....to top it off the woman that issued the refund said I told you yesterday that they dont pull parts on the weekend this woman never told me that....no one told me that...it was then that I realized her boss was standing behind he when she said that.....they are liars and they have no clue what they are doing...... Ill gladly drive to Jax or Orlando to a u pull it I dont care how long of a drive it it......this place used to be a great place to go... Response from the owner 11 minutes ago Hi Aaron. Frank and Julie Rose: Went into Mitchs today to have my wedding band resized down 1-2 sizes (we purchased it here). Mitch was the one at the counter, and while other reviews are positive, it seems they had the chance to speak with the nicer employees. Dealing with Mitch (owner) today was a different story. He was rude from the get-go. My request was simple but he made me feel as if I was inconveniencing him greatly by coming in. He interrupted me every time I spoke. I was so shocked by the whole thing all I could think to do was leave. Hes human and maybe something happened to him, but it would be better to close the shop for the day to get over it, than to start losing customers because you cant be nice. We wont be returning.

Kayla Joynes: This place is great. From the customer service to the store it self. I recently got engaged on my cruise and the ring didn’t quite fit. I called to make sure they were able to do it in store. When I called I spoke to Les Dawson, let me just say this he is absolutely fantastic! He answered all of my questions and was so friendly. When I went in to drop the ring off I spoke with him again and was pleased with how nice everyone including him were. We paid extra to get done expressed and I got a call the next morning not to long after they were open that my ring was ready. I will be going back if I need anything else. This is by far the best jewelry store I’ve been to! Props to Les Dawson for great customer service and going above and beyond!
