    Amber Ferro: I dropped into this gym pretty late in the evening and really appreciated that the owner, Philip, was willing to accommodate me on such short notice. Bent Bar Gym is a solid gym with all the key equipment for effective weight training. Whether you’re focused on heavy lifts or accessory work, this place has you covered. The cost was super reasonable, especially for a one time visit. Philip made the whole process easy and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a no-BS place to lift that respects your time and your training.

    Scott Melber: I travel all over Florida and train at different locations. 1580 McMullen Booth rd in Clearwater is always the cleanest gym. It’s beyond clean. Some of the Planet Fitness gyms across the state are not always clean. This one deserves a big shout out because it’s not easy to keep up the cleanliness. Great staff and great facilities. Keep raising the bar Clearwater

    Joe Cairo: I just want to say how great this gym is. Im in town visiting family and I called three other gems and they were nice to me too, but I wanted to come in super early within the 24-hour gym hours. No one would do it except coastal family. The equipment is super clean , advanced and everything is put back into place. The owner stopped in when I was wrapping up my workout and greeted me as well. If youre in the area to work out you have to come here or if you live in the area you need to join this gym.

    JC Perez: The perfect wellness facility. Great layout, new state of the art training equipment and incredible wellness perks. The red light therapy is really cool. Beyond the facility, what really makes this place shine is the staff. Ben is an amazing owner. ALWAYS improving the facilities and creating a welcoming environment. John is one of the most gifted trainers I’ve ever come across and an amazing dude. Truthfully all the trainers and staff are top notch. I’m so happy and proud to be part of this amazing community. Highly recommend.

    Jamie Hofmann: I have been going to this gym for many many years. A lot of the people that work here have really surprised me because they truly care about the guests. There’s always an incentive to bring your friends in and I’ve brought guests in so I could occasionally have a workout partner. If you put in the effort and they see you coming in the trainers might even come up to you and introduce themselves, and ask you how you are doing. I’ve done some of the classes, my favorite is step. I never feel like I’m being judged or I have to fit into some kind of box to be there. I see people of all ages and sizes all the time. I have gotten to know Wendy, one of the trainers, and Michael, and they have truly taken interest in helping me and I appreciate them so much! When I go in I know they’re watching haha! Makes me work harder. I love the hot tub and the pool too!

    D Smith: Their AC hasnt been working properly for a while now. This is unacceptable especially in this FL heat and how humid it gets. Its to the point where there is literally mold growing on the ceiling. Specifically in the 30 min express workout area that my friend & I had noticed. Probably other places as well but the high ceiling is painted black so you cant see it if it is up there. Otherwise they have newer equipment and its kept pretty clean. Except the bathroom floors can be pretty slippery sometimes which is dangerous. Not sure what theyre using on the floors for that to happen. Please fix your AC & mold issues before people start getting sick. ** AC STILL not working in FL summer humidity. Unacceptable. I will be canceling since I cant even finish a workout here cause its too hot & humid INSIDE. If I wanted to workout in this climate Id do it outside**

    Dave Durell: Went in to sign up under the Renew Active program (like Silver Sneakers). The young lady at the desk was new and not sure how to do it, so she asked the manager for help. The manager instructed her to tell me to come back later because he was too busy working out to take 5 minutes to help her. So I left and drove 3 minutes up the street to Coastal Fitness, where the friendly, professional staff signed me up immediately, and I got a great workout. So if you like being treated with respect and feeling like your patronage is appreciated, now you know where to avoid.
