5 /5 Alfa Write: Excellent establishment. Very fair and honest dealers gave me 3.5k more for a chain than first pawn offered me. Wont go anywhere else to trade metals. Was just in with an antique gun to sell and they suggested i wait and have it appraised instead of just giving what i was asking. They’re also going to consign some expensive antiques for me that other places in the area refused to even hear me on their worth.

1 /5 Jaxson Karen: Came for a second visit to buy 20oz of silver. Got there on 3/2/2025 at 5:11pm, their advertised hours are until 5:30 online and on the door. Doors were locked, called got answer “yea sorry we had to lock up early today”. That’s not how you run a business, especially when there’s someone still in the building able to answer the phone. Pretty pathetic if you ask me to not be able to stick to posted hours 5 days a week, and then not even put up a note. I know in the grand scheme of this business $700 or so isn’t so much, but it sucks to drive over a half hour and come out of my way to make a large purchase (again large is a relative term in precious metals) and not be able to when the place is supposed to be open. I’m pretty upset right now, this is enough for me to not want to come back here and make it well known amongst peers of similar interest to avoid the place.

Irene Read: I’ve been going to Zak’s for over 40 years. They have designed rings, earrings and repaired my jewelry throughout the years. I love Diane who always seems to be there when I go in. Beautiful showroom with new and some estate or previously owned pieces. It’s my go to place for all my jewelry needs. I highly recommend. Please be patient as showroom does get very busy. Image is of my beautifully repaired clasp. Very reasonably priced repairs done in site.

Rodger MEANEY: He accepted a Movado watch to repair , after not hearing anything for 3 weeks I called to inquire to the repair status.I finally got the owner on the phone who advised me nothing had been done because I hadn’t authorized the repair. Well nobody called me to tell me what had to be done. After authorizing the repair and being told “ come on in next week and it will be ready” Well fast forward to next week and the jewelery store has closed its doors, left no contact information . The stores phone number dumps in to a voicemail that’s not set up. I have filed Criminal charges for THEFT, FRAUD, CONSPIRACY TO COMMIY THEFT, WIRE FRAUD ( asking me to zelle payment)

While walking around Tin City the Dana Tyler store caught my eye, unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to look around the store as I was rudely asked to leave for having my children with me. My children and I go shopping often and don’t have issues being in stores, nor were they having any issues in this store. However after walking in the store I was recommended by the worker to take my children to the ice cream and toy store near by. When I thanked her for suggestion continuing to try and look around the worker at the store insisted I take my children to the toy store and informed me that the store we were in was a very high end, implying we were not welcome. We immediately left the store and will not be returning
