They ordered the additional parts and repair was done great and very timely, and at a fair price. Interior of car looked like it was untouched, very clean job. Even gave me a car to use for a few hours. Family run and being my first time using them I will always use Trubey Auto repair and recommend them highly. Such a nice family and they care!

They inspected it and said our brakes were fine and didnt need to be repaired. They could have charged us for a full break job, and we would not have known the difference. Though I live in Ocala I drove to Tavares to have my car repaired based on a personal recommendation from a trusted friend. The facility is clean the people are friendly knowledgeable and helpful. The result is amazing. You would never know that the back end of this vehicle was rammed on State road 200 near the mall in Ocala. Dented lift gait, bumper dented, gouged, twisted. Not only did they work with my insurance company to make sure that everything was covered for repair quote, they worked in very quick fashion so I didnt have to use a rental car for too long. I appreciated the professionalism and the beautiful work they did. Thank you David for handling my old car as if it was a luxury vehicle. I highly recommend this company and the work they do. Dillan Harris I called the shop to get a quote on having a timing belt replaced. The quote I received was excellent for the “correct” work. I took my car into the shop. It took them way longer to diagnose than they initially told me. They advised me I had a vacuum leak that I acknowledged and told them I already purchased the new air box to take care of the problem. The only thing I needed done was the timing belt replaced. They called and reported that the job was complete but my engine had multiple misfires in it after the work was completed, there was no misfire prior to the work being done. I went to go pick my car up and asked him what the cause of the misfire was. The man that worked on my car started to get loud and kept walking up on me. I then called my lawyer on speaker in front of him. I was told to call the police to have them get a bill for me. They shut the shop completely down and left before the cops got there. He stated he didn’t know the cause of the misfire and didn’t diagnose it. They started to demand the money I owed for the repairs before I even heard my vehicle run. Then I stated I needed a bill before I paid and they refused to give me one so I refused to pay. I have contacted the shop a couple separate times trying to resolve the issue. No answer on the phone so I texted Tami, I even stated I’d pay no problem if I was provided a bill first which was the same thing I told them when I went to retrieve my car from the get go. I gave them the option of buying my car for scrap price. And no response! Today I received certified mail saying they put a lien on my car. I have contacted Chanel 9 news, the BBB and tomorrow I will be going to the clerk of court to get this straightened out. This shop is very unprofessional and scam con artists! I do NOT recommend anyone to go there for any of your automotive repairs.

Lenny DePiano Finding a good auto mechanic when youre a snowbird can be challenging .. We have a 07 Jeep Wrangler that decided it didnt want to go into gear anymore. The Jeep was stuck in reverse and we had to call our AAA for a tow. We had gotten a few mechanic recommendations from some of our neighbors in our RV park . I called but no one wanted to work on a Jeep. I then Googled local repair shops and Spencer Auto Group came up. In their ad, among other information they had a sign that said "Jeep Geeks" ... SOLD as far as I was concerned. We called Spencer and we were told we could have our Jeep towed there. We got to their garage, tipped the tow driver and went inside. Spencer is a small, family owned business. These kind of places can be either really good or really bad .. Thankfully, Spencer turned out to be really REALLY good. Our Jeep was looked at within a few hours. We had a busted shift cable. Spencer could have gotten the part from the local Jeep dealer at the usual dealer mark up of %1000 and 2 week wait ... but instead was able to use the existing cable which was not broken. It was the connection hardware that needed replacement ... We waited less than 72 hours and got the call that our Jeep was ready for pick up. Then came the part all car owners fear "What do I owe ya?" .. We were extremely happy with the final price. They are fair and knowledgeable at Spencer AG .. They also kept us updated via phone calls and text. . Sorry this is so long but we just wanted anyone who reads this to know that there really are some good folks out there. These days, thats a great thing to see.

Muktiar Idrees Been coming here for the last 10 years Taken my 350z , G37, 370z, 240sx, to my current Silvia . Derek and Rita expertise are well worth the drive over. I had to prep my s13 for a dyno tune and was able to do everything in house. Wire ecu, fix grounds, change injectors , fuel pump, spark plugs , oil change etc. I have been around many Orlando shops and DRZA I can give my keys and go home with the peace of mind that my car is in good hands. For the quality of work you’d receive it’s well worth it. Shop looks great too.

Gary Dotson My father bought a 1988 300zx new back in 1990. End of last year he gifted it to me with 108,000 miles and in very good condition. It was barely driven for the last 20 years however and was garage kept. As you can imagine things break down just because of the age. Lucky for me I found Derek and Rita. We have been through three phases of repair. Things like suspension. Oil leaks. Timing belt. Water pump. All work was carefully done and done well. Obviously special care and knowledge is needed to work on a car this old ! I would recommend them to anyone. Very professional and compassionate. This car means a lot to me and they did amazing. On to phase 4 ! Gary

Yolanda Loza I’ve heard so many good things about this place, so every time I need a tire, I call this place. Majority of the time, they don’t have my size available. That’s not why I’m giving them this one star review though. Last week, I called looking for a used tire, they happened to have one in my tire size, for a great price! They asked me to be there no later than 30 mins after the call, and I was there 20 mins later. I was happy I made it on time and was awaiting my turn as they were attending other cars. It was my first time here so I figured that once a spot opened, I could pull in. I didn’t know that the parked cars were also cars that they were going to be worked on. I pulled into an empty spot and waited. Guys were just walking around me and not saying anything. It was around 1 pm so I had to give my son a medication that he requires at that time. An older guy told me I needed to move the car to a parking spot and I said ok, but first I had to finish giving my son his medication. He sent another guy to tell me in Spanish to move my car. Completely unnecessary as I understood what he said and acknowledged him. Racist or just impatient? I don’t know but it was rude and unnecessary. I then waited for about 40 mins more and nothing was said to me, so I called a different tire shop and got one there. I will never come back to this place.

Marianne Englerth It was Friday evening at 5p and my engine light was on and I had to drive to the airport the next day. I stopped in to see if he could check why the light was on and he was very pleasant and agreeable and luckily it was only a spark plug needing to be replaced. He did it quickly and a very fair price. I certainly will return again to service my cars. Thank you for great customer service!

Regina Miller I don’t think it’s any coincidence they’ve SAVED me twice now so I have to share. Last month I had a screw in my tire and barely made it into their shop before my tire had ZERO air in it. There was one car ahead of me getting tire work when I pulled in and I was still in and out with a new tire within an hour. Today my car made a super weird noise and I didn’t want to risk trying to make it home. I drove towards the shop and lost power steering as I was pulling in. My serpentine belt completely wore out. I was told the mechanic wasn’t there at the time but they made it happen anyways, I would’ve been stuck there otherwise. They ordered and picked up the part and installed it within an hour and a half. Fast service and great prices. 10/10 recommend!!

Leroy danielson dont recommend for painting. they did a sloppy job areas didnt get painted. they gave car back with scratches paint on the brand new head lights paint on the wheels. also chip windshield causing a line crack. dodnt clean car good from buffing compound. all the crack and lines of car have buffing compound. hack job. dont recommend

Carter Smith They detailed the inside and outside of a Ford 150 and a Subaru Forester. Both of the cars were over 8 years old but came out looking brand new again. The truck has been sitting outside in the sun for many years and the clear coat was heavily oxidized. Auto Detailing Center was able to remove all the oxidation from the paint and make it shine like a mirror! Highly recommended.

A P They do good work, great workmanship. Shame they will be closing soon since, according to the owner’s wife (Kristina) they will be leaving USA. If you’re wanting to build a regular and long term relationship with your car detailer, seek another.

My engine suddenly overheated and I was close to Smokin Automotive so I stopped in to see if they could check it out. What great service! Steve Kiral Albert just repainted and did some bodywork on my Mercedes SLK. Since I am in the hospital and will not physically be home until Friday I have told by friends who picked the car up it looks absolutely gorgeous and sent me photos of the car. Albert has good prices and does quality work so if your in need of painting or body work I recommend calling him!
