1 /5 Yolanda Loza: I’ve heard so many good things about this place, so every time I need a tire, I call this place. Majority of the time, they don’t have my size available. That’s not why I’m giving them this one star review though. Last week, I called looking for a used tire, they happened to have one in my tire size, for a great price! They asked me to be there no later than 30 mins after the call, and I was there 20 mins later. I was happy I made it on time and was awaiting my turn as they were attending other cars. It was my first time here so I figured that once a spot opened, I could pull in. I didn’t know that the parked cars were also cars that they were going to be worked on. I pulled into an empty spot and waited. Guys were just walking around me and not saying anything. It was around 1 pm so I had to give my son a medication that he requires at that time. An older guy told me I needed to move the car to a parking spot and I said ok, but first I had to finish giving my son his medication. He sent another guy to tell me in Spanish to move my car. Completely unnecessary as I understood what he said and acknowledged him. Racist or just impatient? I don’t know but it was rude and unnecessary. I then waited for about 40 mins more and nothing was said to me, so I called a different tire shop and got one there. I will never come back to this place.

I came in with a squeak in my tire that another mechanic was unable to diagnose and they helped me out immediately and saved me a lot of money telling me what the problem was. Paul and Dom were great to me. Pricing was very good as well. I didn’t pay for more than I knew I needed. Very thorough. I will be back.

5 /5 Devin: I share a car with my 72-year-old mother, and recently, we noticed a throttle lag. Sometimes, when backing out or merging into traffic, there’s a brief delay before the car accelerates. We also discovered a leak in one of the tires, so we decided to take the car to another shop to address both issues. The shop recommended a valve clearance adjustment and quoted us $453 for the repair, while also charging a diagnostic fee—even though no engine codes were found. Seeking a second opinion, we reached out to Dave at Lake Tire & Auto. He immediately assured us that a valve clearance adjustment wasn’t necessary and correctly identified the issue as a need for a fuel transmission flush. Although they don’t handle transmission work, Dave was kind enough to provide recommendations on where to take the car for that service, and he didn’t charge us a thing. We’re so relieved to have found an honest mechanic and will definitely be bringing our vehicle to Lake Tire & Auto in the future.
