Robert Toland I recently had an amazing experience with Service King of Wauchula, Florida, and I can’t recommend them enough!
While on my way to a camping trip, I lost my trailer brakes—a critical issue for our trip back home to North Carolina. I tried everything I could to solve the problem but ultimately had to turn to the professionals at Service King. From the moment I walked in, the entire team was polite, professional, and exceptional communicators. They assured me they could diagnose and repair the issue within just five days, despite my tight timeline.
After running diagnostics, they promptly informed me that the trailer brake module needed replacement. I approved the repair, and they quickly ordered and programmed the new module based on my truck’s VIN. However, after installation, the issue persisted. Here’s where their integrity and expertise truly shone: instead of stopping there, they dug deeper, identified a wiring harness problem as the root cause, and completed the necessary repair on their own initiative.
To my absolute surprise, they didn’t charge me for the $500 module they installed, explaining that they stand behind their work and wouldn’t bill me for a misdiagnosed part. They even told me the team would absorb the cost themselves because they believed in taking accountability for their rare mistake.
Not only did they fix the issue perfectly, but they also met my timeline and delivered unbeatable value. The efficiency, honesty, and fairness of the entire Service King team were incredible. I’ve never encountered a business that takes such pride in doing right by their customers.
If you’re ever in need of vehicle repairs, Service King of Wauchula, Florida, is the place to go. They’ve earned my trust and my highest recommendation!

Misty Oz If given the choice I would give Service King of Wauchula ZERO stars. Please do not trust these people with your vehicle. My experience was a nightmare.
Went in for what should have been a routine oil and fuel filter change. First, they put the wrong filter in. No big deal, mistakes happen. Then, I hear them trying to start my truck for 45 minutes straight. Just cranking it over and over and over. I’ll likely have to replace the starter soon, it was that bad. I ask what is going on because I know this isn’t normal. We’ve changed the fuel filter ourselves before. The truck primes the filter itself. They keep giving me the run around. First they try and tell me it’s totally normal, standard procedure. I don’t bother arguing because I can’t just drive the truck away and they obviously think I have no clue what’s going on. Then, when they still can’t start it they finally tell me the air is in the fuel lines because they put the wrong filter in. Eventually they get the truck started and I leave. There was a seriously strong diesel smell that we attributed to the shop but I just wanted to get out of there.
An hour or so later we drive a few miles down the road to the Walmart and the smell is even stronger and we’ve gone from a full tank to 3/4 tank. My husband hops out to look for what’s causing it and diesel is spraying out from under our truck. The whole truck was coated-undercarriage, engine and the body. Another thing he spotted while looking under the truck-they shoved a shop rag up in there! That is a major fire hazard! We drive it the 1.5 miles home and by then it is smoking! Our 4 daughters were in that truck and in danger because of the lack of professionalism and complete carelessness from Service King.
Our neighbor happened to be knowledgeable with big trucks and helped us find the leak. It was spraying from the fuel line next to the engine filter. He tightened it and it stopped. Word got around to the owner, Cody, and he reached out apologizing and claiming to make it right. I took it to RAM and had them look over it. They said the neighbor fixed it when he tightened the line and there was nothing else wrong besides it being covered in fuel. Cody did reach out to RAM before I got there to make sure they would take care of me but he pretty much negated any goodwill when he texted me afterward telling me “his guys never touched a fuel line”. Our truck was fine. There was no leak until his incompetent staff got there hands on it. Between the lack of accountability and zero offer to give us any sort of refund for our time and trouble I cannot recommend this place to anyone. They should lose their license and I’ll be reaching out to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services about the situation.
Lastly, it was the most expensive oil and fuel filter change I’ve ever gotten. Was quoted $360 on the phone. When they made the mistake with the filter it went up to $425. Didn’t honor the original price at all. Then, when I go to pay the employee tells me $500something! The owner came in and gave it to me for the $425 but wow. He said the quotes didn’t include labor. Yeah ok. I’ve never paid over $350 for the exact service, even in CA. This place is a ripoff as well as unprofessional.
I am unable to post a video but I took screenshots of the puddle of fuel and the shop rag as well as him saying they didn’t touch any lines.
Edited to add: No, Service King did NOT pay to have my truck “professionally detailed”. I was at RAM for less than 30 minutes. They hosed my truck down, that’s it. And when I asked the service manager if I owed him anything he said no and that he likely wasn’t going to charge you either. Nice try. All you are doing with your lying and lack of accountability is digging yourself a deeper hole.
