I was introduced to Sarasota City Church last year through a link sent to me from a friend, who is one of our sisters at Sarasota City Church. That link was of Pastor Igor preaching a sermon, and our Lord blessed me by allowing me to hear Pastor Igors sermon, which filled me with our Lords presence. I was a new believer at the time, and obviously some things were a little confusing, but Pastor Igor, his wife Oxanna, and other special guests, preached our Lords word in a way that I understood and spoke to me. Thats one of the many things I personally love about Sarasota City Church; they preach directly from the Bible. Ever since Ive watched that first sermon, I have continued to watch every sermon since (I live near Chicago, which is why I watch online). After listening to a couple of sermons, I personally reached out to Pastor Igor, because I wanted him to know how his sermons were touching my life. Pastor Igor and I had a wonderful conversation, and from that point on, he has helped in guiding me understand our Lords word, and to be obedient and live by it. This to me is huge, because for a complete stranger to just talk to me about God, and even about my own life is so beautiful, and it shows love. Our relationship since then has grown, and we continue to talk about our Lords word. Thank you Igor, and praise be to God! Amen! At least with me, you can learn much about a church through relationships, especially watching a Pastors family and how they interact with each other. This family is a family to model after... their kids are amazing and they truly love people and this community! The people/staff follow suit and you can tell immediately as soon as you walk into the church. My wife even mentioned she loved how friendly and inviting the place was!

Like in my case, Im a girl, and most of the girls are nice. Im not saying there is something wrong with them... a thing that I love in this church is that we play lots of volleyball! Also a huge thing at this Campus on Monday nights they have whats called Celebrate Recovery which is a Christ based group supporting those with Hurts, Habits, Hang Ups and Addictions. It is a fully confidential program, all are welcome.

Blake Fitz Bayside church is amazing as they graciously allowed the non profit organization Tanners Turkeys to use the church to put together and distribute 600+ meals for families in need for Thanksgiving.

Colleen Baxter This is a Christ-centered (as it should be!) warm, friendly Roman Catholic church that was very nicely decorated for Christmas. Even though I went to the 7:00 Mass on Christmas Eve without a choir, the music was uplifting. The homily was thought provoking and prayerful. Im considering making this my permanent home parish again after many years away. It is completely physically accessible to anyone with a disability, even the altar has a ramp. Arguably more important, people are genuine and helpful but not patronizing or put off by differences. Come to the Feast!

Bonnie Dooley Our first time attending a “Candlelight: Holiday Special,” concert and we were not disappointed!! The Listeso String Quartet Sarasota are absolute masters of their craft, performing traditional Christmas-themed pieces such as O Holy Night, Greensleeves, Angels We Have Heard on High, and the Nutcracker. Their music, performed in the beautiful candle-lit church setting, was food for the soul! So happy we went, and we will definitely make this a yearly Christmas tradition!

Gene Fellin Moving to a new place is always challenging, leaving behind everyone and everything you know. Finding a new church community is difficult. I first became aware of St Boniface through the Internet. I was able to watch previous services and events because they share them online through Boxcast. I knew I wanted to check this church out in person. On my first time in church, I was greeted so warmly by so many, that I felt right at home. The openness and inclusiveness is really breath of fresh air. There are many different ministries and groups to be part of as St. Boniface actively seeks to have a positive impact on the greater community. Sophia Stone I have been searching for a Latin mass living in Punta Gorda and the closest ones are either Sarasota or Fort Myers. I tried Fort Myers first and it was not done in Latin and there was so much talking and disturbance that I got up and left after 10 mins. We decided to come to this one this week and I am so happy I did. Being highly empathetic I unfortunately can feel and sense when things are not right or fake or bad. With that said this church is absolutely wonderful. The outside is beautiful, the inside is beautiful and most important the pastor has a good heart and is a good man. Everyone is extremely genuine and there for worship and love and compassion. I went to the 7am mass because I prefer to start my day right. If you’re looking for a legitimate Latin Mass that feels good and is good then this is the one you want to go to. I also noticed there is a separate room for people with young children where they can still see the mass on a big screen, comfy chairs and a kitchen to help the moms. If you want to feel connected to God and feel love and compassion from others than this is the one for you. One of the best churches I have ever been too and I am so grateful they are here and offering what they do. I left with so much gratitude in my heart and that is exactly what church should do.

I was immediately scared. This is not ok!!!!! They left a Easter Sunday Service invite. I love god but this is not ok with me. I do not answer the door to anyone I’m not expecting. Most of all two men. Please spend the money to send through the mail. The guy banged on my door and window. Please never come to My house again. Not Happy!!!!!!
