Have been visiting for a few months. We have been welcomed into a Sunday school class and have been really made to feel right at home.

    Ciaran Sontag: The Well is a Christian church that is very authentic. All are welcome and encouraged to be a part of their Jesus community! They give free coffee and Krispy Kreme donuts before the service, and the pastor’s wife Missy makes each person’s coffee to order. They prioritize loving and serving others, meaning a lot of what makes this church special is what they do outside of the church building including “love cleans” a mobile shower unit on Wednesdays, and “love feeds” a food pantry every 1st and 3rd Saturday. The Pastor, Tone Benedict, is very passionate about loving people in tangible ways and encouraging people to meet the needs of their neighbors. He is the type of person who leads by example and is not afraid to get his hands dirty to help someone else without being self-righteous about it. He is very good at pointing people to Jesus and spreading the good news of the gospel!

    Fit Emmett: From the parking lot welcome team to the greeters inside, I felt really welcomed and I loved the service. This seems to be a ministry that goes above and beyond to create a welcoming community. We will be back next visit to Jacksonville!

    John Cornish Jr: I have passed by Freedom many times and my observation was that they were "light in the darkness" always helping those in need in my community. So I decided to worship our Savior with them this past Sunday. I went into service agitated and frustrated but the Pastor who was real, down to earth and biblical that accompaniedwith the warm welcome that I received from the congregation quickly disarmed my crazy thinking. And the message hit home with conviction. As much as I hate to admit it when you feel conviction you might be in the right place .

I love how welcoming Jax Church crazy family is. They are always there to answer questions and help lead others to Christ.
