I was introduced to Sarasota City Church last year through a link sent to me from a friend, who is one of our sisters at Sarasota City Church. That link was of Pastor Igor preaching a sermon, and our Lord blessed me by allowing me to hear Pastor Igors sermon, which filled me with our Lords presence.
I was a new believer at the time, and obviously some things were a little confusing, but Pastor Igor, his wife Oxanna, and other special guests, preached our Lords word in a way that I understood and spoke to me. Thats one of the many things I personally love about Sarasota City Church; they preach directly from the Bible. Ever since Ive watched that first sermon, I have continued to watch every sermon since (I live near Chicago, which is why I watch online).
After listening to a couple of sermons, I personally reached out to Pastor Igor, because I wanted him to know how his sermons were touching my life. Pastor Igor and I had a wonderful conversation, and from that point on, he has helped in guiding me understand our Lords word, and to be obedient and live by it. This to me is huge, because for a complete stranger to just talk to me about God, and even about my own life is so beautiful, and it shows love. Our relationship since then has grown, and we continue to talk about our Lords word. Thank you Igor, and praise be to God! Amen!
Pastor Igor, his wife Oxanna, and Sarasota City Church hold weekly gatherings. Their goal is to keep us in Gods presence, and for us all to know and be filled with Gods word. By them having these gatherings, Sarasota City Church has been blessed by growing as a family, has been blessed with beautiful brothers and sisters from around the world gathering together, praying together, worshipping together, and having "Firm Foundation" classes together, which helps us to understand the word of God and teaches us how to apply our Lords word into our daily lives, which helps us in growing in our faith and love for our one and only God. Amen!
Sarasota City Church cares deeply about our relationship with God, and all our brothers and sisters, special guests and pastor know that this is done through faith, fellowship, prayer, worship, love for one another, and through the word of God.
