5 /5 Williams Holly (Chris & Holly): We visited the restaurant around 4:30 PM and were seated immediately. The staff was friendly, and the place was very clean and welcoming. Our server, Heather, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and quick to meet our needs.
We started with the tuna dip appetizer, which was very good and full of flavor. For our meals, I had the horseradish crusted grouper with new potatoes and cheese grits. The grouper was phenomenal—perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The cheese grits were creamy and flavorful, though the new potatoes could’ve used a bit more seasoning.
My husband ordered the blackened grouper throats, and they were cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful. He did mention that the sweet tea wasn’t quite sweet enough for his liking, but that was a minor complaint.
One of our girls ordered the popcorn shrimp basket, and the portion size was huge. She really enjoyed it and had left ibers to take home. One of them got the grilled mahi mahi and couldn’t stop talking about how good the coleslaw was—fresh, creamy, and sweet.
Once we tried the hushpuppies, we immediately placed an order for more. They were perfectly sweet with just the right amount of crisp on the outside.
Overall, a great dining experience with quality seafood, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
