4 /5 Sharrell Majors: I haven’t had Cheddars in a long time so I was excited about going after church with my mom and her church friends.
Chloe was our server and she was great. Even though she had a busy section, she fulfilled her steps of service gracefully and with a smile. My mom and her friends are not the easiest table but she was patient and kind. When my food order was wrong, she immediately got a manager involved and corrected my country fried chicken in less than 10 minutes.
Speaking of managers, Ray was the kindest soul. I watched him greet tables all night long and make himself available for his team during a busy Sunday afternoon. As a fellow restaurant manager it is great to see someone who takes pride in what they do. He came over during the beginning of our meal to welcome us in, and came over once he heard about my country fried chicken and made sure to apologize and let me know it was in the works.
The only issue I had was the cleanliness. The booths were dirty and so was the floor. Our silverware was wrapped but when we opened them they still had large food particles on them. When we were being brought to the table, the busser left a dirty tray on the clean table ( my pet peeve as a manager) that the host sat us at. Although he removed the tray, the table was wet and dirty from it being placed there.
No restaurant is perfect, and you can always improve sanitation standards, but it is hard to come by hardworking and passionate staff and this location has that. Thank you Chloe and Ray! We will be back.
